Sad to say but sunpower does not sell panels locally according to one of their engineer na nakasama ko sa seminar.
My dorm mate in college, who works in sta. rosa told me 2 years ago that they sell it locally but it has to bundled or massive number of orders.

Ohh... these days is HK Electronics Show - one of the biggest show in the world.

In parallel, mayroon iyong Shenzhen show din sa Electronics at Canton Show, next then is Shang hai show....

SOLAR Power is always a hot item, ang dami new innovations compared lang ito noon HK show last APRIL 2008, paliit nang paliit ang mga Solar Power at palakas ang palakas, iyong mga nakita niyo sa Raon parang obsolete na iyan kung baga sa new development in 5~6 months.

I wish I had enough time to surf around and get some catalog and latest informations, kasi exhibitor din ako ngayon.   And if anyone who attend it - - visit me there in Guangzhuo (Canton fair show) as I will exhibit some (sa Home Decoration) :

Place          :  104th Canton Fair in Pazhou Complex , Guangzhou City
booth No. is :  16.4.C33(16th Hall, 4th floor, Passage C, booth 33)
section        :  Hardware Exhibition Hall.
Date           :  October 15th~19th in 2008

Visit http://www.hsadecor.com    check our bulletin for more info

After these shows,  KTV show na susunod..

I am not really sure kung puwede magbenta locally ang mga nasa processing zone,.

For Solar power, it is easy to obtain here in China - from our chain, several Universities and true blooded R&D engineers are requesting this for their test - it will be the craze technology tomorrow, the issue with me is that --- how i am going to ship this to you if you afraid of the incurred tax?  That's the bottleneck.  Even in the name of Education, walang sinasanto ang customs based from my experience sending donor to School and universities.

Maybe 2 weeks from now, there will be more information I can post regarding Solar Power (items from the HK/Shenzhen/Canton Show).

There is a projection or project which is called the Solar Power Subdivision in Baguio City,  I am not really sure how true it is - I just heard about the bidding of supplying Solar Panel or Solar Power Systems.

My buddy is busy modifying his so called Home Light Automation (HLA) and now integrating Solar Power Systems into his house - a very ambitious one.

probably some sort of pilot project of the solar panel manufacturers. the lowest cost sunpower offers in their calculator is US$8 per watt. assuming that you have a max of 2000W demand in your home - that is a whopping 8 x 2000 x 46 = 736,000. assuming a monthly bill of 1500 per month, a payback of 490 months or 40 years. sunpower gives a 25 year warranty on their panels which means that sira na ang panels mo, hindi pa bawi ang cost.

Anywayz, baka may computer shop siya or some sort of business. Like in Forbes Makati, akala niyo residential lahat ang mga bahay jan pero the truth is may mga mala-processing zone and warehouse ang function.

nag cacanvass din ako today, I am planning na maglagay din nito sa bahay.. medyo mahal nga lang ang solar panel so siguro simula muna ako sa 50W solar panel.
