Depende yan sa tadhana kasi kung pagpipilitan mo yung gusto mo, baka abutin ka na ng two years after graduarion eh wala ka pa ring trabaho.  I always wanted to be in electronics R&D kaya lang after graduation, napasok agad ako sa Telecoms, sabi ko sa sarili ko, temporary lang naman until I pass the board exams in November.  After passing the board, wala naman ako makitang trabaho sa semicon or electronics.About another year siyaka naglabasan mga trabaho sa electronics at semicon kaya lang they were looking either for experienced engineers  or fresh graduates.  However, with already more than 2 years experience in Telecoms, I did'nt want to start again with an entry level salary so I got stuck with Telecoms.

Anyway, destiny has its rewards naman... I got to travel all over the Philippines and outside the Philippines.

you will really have to specialize, that is the only way to grow. Piliin mo kung ano talaga hilig mo.

During my college years, nahilig ako sa Matlab programming and PC interfacing. And during my brief teaching stint i focused more on hardware design and microcontrollers. So right now my aim is to specialize on control systems para magamit ko ang mga hilig ko.

Though i dont know if mapagkikitaan ko yung skill ko later on, pero sige lang. hehe

Gusto ko specialization ay TWO-WAY RADIO COMMUNICATION, kahit vhf and hf lang, AND WAVE PROPAGATION.  Member kasi ako ng Amateur Radio Group.  Love ko na kasi yong essence of amateurism and volunterism. Yong fulfilment na ma fel mo lalo na pag nakapag assist ka ng isang emergency situation.  Just think of what happen in baguio before (earthquake).  If not because of the two-way radio setup of an amateur (ECE din daw yon), many lives could have been lost.   Pero work ko now is COMPUTER NETWORK ADMINISTRATION, pero active pa rin ako sa two-way radio as my hobby

right now im not really sure what my specialization is 

I really love control systems but hold off muna ito since i dont have the equipments (like DAQs, signal analyzers)

I love electronics, but geez, im still noobish

ako ang sapantaha ko sa specialization parang malawak eh, mas maganda siguro kung magagawa natin ng maayos ang trabaho kung ano man ang field natin then syempre pulido dapat. Ako nasa instrumentation and controls ako sa petrochemical company, pero hanggang ngayon mahirap mag-specialize para sa partikular na instrumento, ang sakin lang eh, kelangan may passion tayo sa trabaho para hindi mawala ang interes, kaya sa field namin sa instrument sari-saring technology din ang involved nandyan na halos kabisado mo na kada parameters at registers/adds ng instrumento (HART or conventional na 4-20ma) then may bago na naman yung fieldbus system etc... so dapat up to date din ang alam natin para sa mga bagong technology kung saan mang field tayo nandoon. ika nga eh keep the fire burning

just specialize first on how to make a very fat bank account....then specialize on how to manage that bank account......you retire by the time your investments are self-sufficient and earning enough money for you.....at this point you must be 40yrs old....

then restart your life (anywayz life begins at 40)......specialize in searching your specialization by the time you've found it you are maybe 70 and very old to follow it through.....

or just simply define your happiness and goals in life..this will define your specialization.....malay mo pagpapari pala talaga gusto mo..
