UP ECE graduates board exam performance

I had actually worked with a UP Engineer and I agree that they are very good in design and 'madiskarte'.

pero feeling ko naliliitan sila sa akin its because wla kong prof that i am compettive for the job e.g (license) so i decided to pursue a masters degree in engineering and medjo blooming young carreer ko doon so may institution who is willing support my needs but i have to render fulltime service e.g ( studies and research ) so they ask my resignation.

yanz, you works and deeds should speak for yourself... marami akong nakasalamuhang managers and heard various feedback to other employees like

#1: "ComSci yan, pero magaling, nakakapag design ng circuit"
#2: "Operator yan dati, pero napromote ng engineer dahil magaling mag isip"

got the picture? di mo kelangan ng sandamukal na certification para masabing competitive ka sa trabaho mo...  basta ibigay mo lang ang best mo...

#2: "Operator yan dati, pero napromote ng engineer dahil magaling mag isip"

anyway, based from experience, the license purpose depends on the field the you've penetrated, cguro  kung broadcasting or sa comms ka, pero sa ibang field, i doubt it, ako kc I have'nt taken the board yet, since i graduated 2002, but im now a staff engineer here in malaysia, in semicon's 5th largest semicon company in the world, its just experience based, licensed k nga, nde ka nmn maayos magworl, wala din, ika nga e , nsa tao yan.
good luck , sana maliwanagan ka, nde dahilan ung license para kawaan mo sarili mo, just prove to them that you're worth or better, worth more than they expect for.

On my previous work, i know a lot who holds critical position in research and development yet not a board passer. May kaibigan ako at ka-batch noon na technician MFI graduate (Meralco Foundation) ( 2 years course) at ngayon Department Manager at under nya mga liscence ECE.

This is not to say to anyone na "oh, ok lang pala di mag-take ng board", basta try your best to pass the board exam, but don't be discourage if you can't make it, there are still a "next time" dudes!!!!!

meron nga bago nya makuha yung BS ECE degree nya, 6 digits na ang sweldo nya eh asan na ba yung halimaw na yun?

may kakilala rin akong ganyan, from undergrad ECE naging technician sa isang semicon company, dahil magaling, tumaas ang pwesto (managerial) nagkaroon ng mga under na licensed ECE. maraming issues kaya nag-resign na lang siya. sa unang linipatan (puro management lang nandito) niya naging 2x pa sweldo niya at sarado na ngayon 'yung pinanggalingan niyang semicon company.
