im trying to improve this one, i may need your suggestions...

ano pa kaya ang dapat kong idagdag dito... ? o babaguhin?
bakante pa ang PORTA.

BTW, i am trying also to route the board for a single sided PCB... para magamit  ng karamihan.

pwede rin .. for temp sensing... jumper for either POT usage(variable 0-5V) or from temp sensor... Smiley

sure...

actually, here is a better version.

i added the reset bottom... lagi natin tong gamit.
simply supply it with 12V... gamit ko nga eh yung ATX power supply.

BTW... to those who have a better views about PIC development boards, we have an on going contest to win the elab's pikit2.

I would still go for 16x2 LCD.... Grin Grin Grin

tita marce.
leave port C for CCP, PWM, SPI, UART, and i2c.
then on port D naman ganito na lang. para ma-practice nila na pwede mag switch from input to output. see image.
then ULN darlington drivers naman sa port B. for relay, steppers, solenoids, dc motors, buzzer...

interesting.... then, i think, the development with be change a lot! Grin

but i agree with you. dapat i-utilize ang mga peripherals kasi intended yan na gamitin. kaya nga nilagay dyan. thanks for the tip!
yung FPGA development board ko kasi ang influence ng kaisipan kong ito... hehehe Grin you see, FGPA's got a lot of IO's.

ganito nalang, most of the peripherals will be exclusive to its functionality.
PORTA will be for ADCs
PORTB, for GPIOs. LCD maybe but will still leave RB0 for its interrupt detection capability. tamang tama, we need 6 pins for LCD. Although I am also thinking that we need 7. the seventh pin will be utilized for the LCD backlight. But Martin's suggestion is also good for this.
PORTC. Since most peripherals are assigned to this port, we must leave itopen. Siguro yung UART nalang ang lagyan.
PORTD. PortD is intended for parallel interfacing, but since most of use rarely use this one, we assign this as for GPIO. we use that strategy of Martin.

honestly, wala naman akong time gawin to... hehehe Grin. pag may spare time lang siguro. Smiley

Imbis na nakahilera yung push buttons sa ilalim, 3 by 3 na matrix might be better.

nice suggestion. Im using the same circuit for my PIC16F877A demoboard and i got the idea from Flowcode  Smiley

pangit nga! hehehe Cheesy kasi siguro dapat may "packaging(sort of protection casing)" yung 3310 LCD at hindi "bare"....
