I want to apply for PECE pero I am asking myself, para san? Para pumirma ng plano? Eh di nga recognized ang field ng ECE sa city hall dito, before the city engineers office can implement RA9292, they must create a plantilla for ECE, so para san ang PECE kung wala ka naman sa academe?
i have the same sentiment..

patay talaga ang department namin...pero feeling ko naman if ever mag apply yung dep't chair namin matatanggap kagad siya, that is kung magaaply siya.

Wala required CPE points, yun 7 years of engineering experience lang hinihingi and yung significant engineering work.

Oo nga ano, pag tinanung tayo, ano ba significant engineering work mo?

Aside sa 7 years experience kailangan in good standing member ka ng IECEP.
Di sulit kasi di mo nababawi nagastos mo buti na lang kahit paano may incentive ako from the company because they gave me 5K after having the license.
Sa ibang interesado just give me your email. Send ko application form then send it back to me properly filled up with supporting document para macheck ko. Strict sila dito kasi thats the only way to filter the applicants.

According to my friend minimum daw 10k gagastusin mo to become PECE. Mababawi mo rin kasi P1,500 ang minimum charge pag pumirma PECE ng Electronics Plan sa mga buildings at another P1,500 minimum charge to sign the completion of Electronics Works. Pagmaraming pages yung plan yung singil ang is P500 per page minimum.

So far, this are all assumptions, as kakaunti lang ang city or munisipyo na humihingi ng pirma ng PECE. Kung sakali i-implement, good for us.

Marami.
And you cannot assure na maging instant PECE ka ka-agad. Medyo matagal yung process.

May essay na pinapasubmit right?
Yung CPE points and of course meron pang seminar attended, so ano pinag kaiba nun?
I you will take a look at the application form, there is a section for the seminar/training attended and yung sa CPE points, when I asked the iecep officers during our meeting, they said there is a conversion ek ek.
Now here is my simple request for PECE's out there, why just don't you post here kung ano ba talaga ang ano, para naman yung gusto mag-apply eh makapag-apply na ng straight at di na malito at pumnta pa kung kanikanino.
I am very thankful to maldihtah13, sya pa lang ang PECE dito na voluntarily willing to help his fellow ECE's to become a PECE also.
Being a PECE is not only about money making or the additional income you will get in the future, it is also self satisfaction, and as once an engineering student before also, di ba it is just like our goals na to become an engineer someday, then ngayun na engineer tayo, it is our goal na maging PECE na para at least matuldukan na profession natin.

Meron nang Memo ang PRC sa mga Municipal / City Engineer sa buong Pilipinas for its implementation. Dated November 19, 2009 pa. You can verify the memo sa PRC.
Here is the portion of the Memo:
BOARD ELECTRONICS ENGINEER MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR No. 2009-23 Series of 2009
Addressed to: All City and Municipal Building Officials, All City and Municipal Engineers, City and Municipal Local Government Units
Subject: Implementation of RA9292, Known as the "Electronics Law of 2004" in the Process and Approval of Building Permits for Building and Structures required under Presidential Decree No. 1096, The "National building Code of the Philippines"
MOD EDIT:
It is not significant kung may memo man or wala, bakit, PRC ba ang magpapasahod sa iha-hire na empleyado ng munisipyo? Ganun ba kadali amglagay ng plantilla position?
You are making it look na applying or acquiring the PECE license means money making. I'm telling you, di lahat ng gusto maging PECE ay yan ang maging goal.
This thread is all about PECE application and interview.

Kaya doon pumapasok yung palakasan system. you may have all the documents and followed the right procedures to apply to PECE but nasa kamay pa rin ng Board ang kapalaran mo. We have to face it.

Then if this palakasan system exists in applying, so what is the use of this PECE for us?

@ Glenjoy:
Visit the Official website of iecep nandoon ang mga forms you need to download to apply for PECE. Meron checklist doon.
To obtain Certification of Good Standing just inquire sa IECEP office nearest you.
Good luck.

That's the reality we have to face. Baka sa next set of ECE Board magbago na.
