Ganun ba  Sabi din ng Abogado ng PRC dito sa amin during oath-taking ng mga professionals na ang PRC ID na ini-issue nila is for IDENTIFICATION PURPOSE ONLY. So pwede daw na hindi mo na i-renew ang license ID mo kasi ang Certificate of Registration mo naman daw ang nagbibigay sayo ng karapatan na ikaw ay isang licensed professional (ex. Doctor, Engineer, Nurse, etc.). Abogado na yun na employed sa PRC ang nagsabi at sa harap pa ng mga Mag-o-oath-taking.... Pero try not to renew your license ID and insist that its your Certificate of Registration as licensed professional that matters. Malamang mahihirapan ka makipagtalo sa employer/client kung tatanggihan ka nya coz expired license ID mo. Ang masabi ko lang sumunod ka na lang sa patakaran ng Board of ECE kasi kung hindi ka mag-pa-interview mahirap ma approve ang application mo. Interview is for verification purpose and to know the person applying. Considering na pwedeng ma-peke yung mga documents sa Recto. At saka may mga peke din na Abogado na nag-nonotaryo ng documents... But you are free to challenge the Board of ECE kung matapang ka. Don't subject your self for interview and point out what is stated in RA9292 and the opinion of the Legal Department of PRC. Inform us kung successful ka. Good luck. I just want the truth, kaya i go for the legal section of the PRC....if they say that it is a requirement then i go for the interview, but they say it is not, then why i be subjected to the inverview, it would be another waste of time and money for me and the interviewer....actually they say the interview takes only 15 mins sometimes only 5 mins .....and i will be travelling for 8 hours (land trip) + my lodging + my traveling expenses for the sake of the 15 mins interview !!  |

.....also supposed to be an oathtaking can be administer by any lawyer in your locallity, no need to go to the high priced oathtaking ceremony by the PRC.....  It's the Certification of Registration what really matters, i do agree with this....u can renew anytime because u are a registered Eng'r of the PRC. |

But you will be in trouble if you practice with expired license. You cannot sign documents if your license ID is expired. And PRC requires professionals in teaching institutions to have unexpired license to teach. Kaya may butas ang batas eh... Its your prerogative not to subject your self for interview. As far as I know the Board do interview by phone sometimes. Anybody here became an ECT without having interviewed by the Board of ECE? |

who said so? aside from IECEP seminars, we vigorously attending the Mid-Year and Annual IECEP Conventions either in Metro Manila or Provinces... FYI |
