arc cot is the inverse of cotangent,
since 1/tan(x) =cot (x) or = cos(x)/sin(x)

then arc cot (x) or 1/cot(x)= tan(x) or = sin(x)/cos(x)

Are you sure "1/tan" is the answer? Who told you this?

Then answer of arc_cot function is the ANGLE and NOT the ratio.

i.e.
sin(ANGLE) = a/c
cos(ANGLE)=b/c
tan(ANGLE)=a/b
cot(ANGLE) = b/a

and

arcsin(a/c) = ANGLE
arccos(b/c) = ANGLE
arctan(a/b) = ANGLE
** arccot(b/a) = ANGLE **

You maybe confused with the identity : cot(ANGLE) = 1/tan(ANGLE)
But this is completely different from arc_cot() function that is the INVERSE function and NOT the reciprocal.
