wala po bang nabago sa design niyo at sa microchip? thanks for effort +1 po sa inyo balak ko pumunta sa naga city master bibisitahin ko yung grave ng lolo ko at ka papa sa iriga. baka may available unit pa kayo pupunta ko sa place niyo  layout lang... at of course materials (but exactly same values). at di ko yan design... kay master Motion55 yan. Totally, wala nang natira saakin... sayang.  matagal nang panahon.. try to contact time2fly. may mga post sya dito. |

PIKIT2 is definitely a 200% improvement kumpara sa diy parallel PIC Programmer.. i think every student or electronics hobbyist should own one.. unfortunately, mukhang kulang yata yung supply natin.. Kailan ba kayo ulit magkakaroon ng supply nito ? .. |

the schematics can be found on the user's guide of PICkit2 itself. may simplified version over the internet, seach nyo nalang... " pickit2 clone".
about the supply... sir motion55 told me that should he go back to Korea, he might be able to get some.
May nagpost na ng simplified PICKIT2 dito using available parts. and instead of boost converter, it used a voltage multiplier for the VPP... if i got some time, i will try to construct one (experiment perhaps) so other can also reconstruct it. I will try to use local available parts. nasaan na nga ba un?

i suggest bili nalang kayo sa e-gizmo para di na kayo mahirapan sa pagconstruct at paghanap ng parts. another thing, sure na kayo na gagana.  ibalik nyo kapag di nagwork!!! hehehe a PIC18F2550 is about 450pesos dito sa pinas. actually sa RSPhilippines.com, 475 and DIP at 546 ang SOIC package. eh 1150pesos lang yung e-pickit2. nasa 40% percent na ng cost yung chip mismo. so id say, mura na na ang e-pickit2. |

yup.. for the beginners tlaga, para less hassle, just buy a ready made one.. USB PIC programmer.. mostly kasi sa mga PC ngayun, ay wala na serial at parallel port(s).. mostly, USB na...

Pwede po ba dito mag post ng observation using Elab PICKIT 2? Paki transfer na lang po if ever na mali ang posting.
Is there somebody who experienced "intermittent" detection, read and write of PIC board/chip attached to PICKIT2?
Here are some of the details.
1.0 I have the last piece PICKIT 2 from marce sometime 2009. Now ko lang na try after being busy for sometime.
2.0 I have a demo board with 877a and another for 628a. Meron din ako 1x 628a sa breadboard na ginawa ko for isolation purpose.
3.0 I used PICKIT 2 apps. Same din naman ang observation din sa IDE.
4.0 I think PICKIT apps were able to see the PICKIT board. Kasi kita nya ang board ID. All leds seems doing their thing as indicators.
5.0 Laptop USB Vdd reads 4.72V with target board connected. Thats is when VDD check box is checked. MCLR also works as I see the toggling of MCLR pin while toggling the the check box.
6.0 Tried ko rin sa isang mini PC ( atom n270 na asus EEBOX). Halos same observation.
7.0 Hindi ko na try sa std desktop kasi wala ako.
Baka lang po meron kayo recommendation.
