e-Gizmo Launches Think Lab
January 18, 2009

Mechatronics central e-Gizmo launches Think Lab, a group of engineers,
consultants, lecturers and technicians that serve students, schools,
professionals and hobbyists.Think Lab believes in the network of shared
minds and collaborative thrusts, advancing academic and industrial pursuits
in electrical and electronics engineering. Taking these endeavors to heart,
Think Lab fosters the R&D culture and cultivates technology and innovation
in the country.

Think Lab provides consultation services, and guides students as they work
on their thesis projects - from circuit design, to prototyping and construction,
to debugging and final implementation.

Think Lab also conducts lectures and workshops. Its team of lecturers and
facilitators share their broad knowledge in mechatronics, microcontrollers,
data acquisition, wireless instrumentation, sensors, and many other comprehensive
topics.

Think Lab promotes the  active involvement of students in their projects, and
provides thorough guidance and complete facilities for students to finish their
work. Think Lab does not condone services that market "made-to-order" thesis
projects for a fee.

For further details about its consultation services and offered workshops, visit
the Think Lab website at www.thinklab.ph or contact the secretariat at
0915-620-1791 or secretariat@thinklab.ph .

gud am po sir.
patulong naman sa project namin... queuing system ung katulad sa bank... paano po ba ang diagram.. IC's lang po ang gagamitin namin.. we planned to design 4 2-3 tellers. 1 teller 1, 2 or 3 will entertain costumers, display 1 will show kung anong number na ung priority, xempre magstart talaga sa 1 db.. display 1 will jst increment after each teller will press their own button... medyo nakuha ko na ang circuit para jan... the problem sir is, i have other 7 segment display... i planned na each teller, mayroong display... if teller 1 pressed the his button, mgdisplay ang 1, and if teller 2 naman, off c teller one, on and display ni teller 2 na mg-display ng 2, same din ang concept kay teller 3.. or para malessen ung cost, pwde rin sa 1 display na lang f saang teller pupunta ung tao... un yong problem ko sir... kasi, hindi nag-on off ung display ng kada-teller..

please give me some guides of software to use
and what database to use..please thx

the system automatically prints the grade slip of the student after the id scanned using barcode reader. The student can choose the grade they want to print by putting the school year and semester period of the grade they want to be print and also they can see the preview of it. The student has only permitted to print 2 copies of their grade. If exceeded pop up message will appear and will not print.

Natapos na po to ng mga students dito sa school namin.. And they have used the following materials/software:

Hardware:
1. PC
2. Printer
3. Barcode reader
4. Switch circuit
5. Printer cable

Software:
1. VB.Net
2. SQL
3. Macromedia Flash

Those were the different materials that they've used in making the project.

Switch circuit - Eto yung ginagamit nla pra ma-control ang printer at barcode reader.

Gumagamit pa ba kayo ng coin validator dito? What really is the process of your project?

OT:

Kindly make another thread of this topic. Mukha kasing di to bagay sa thread na to eh.. At ng makita nrin ng iba dito sa elab.. Fed the url nlng dito pra madaling ma-access.
