Recommended 100% perfect guide....

hehe..although student palang po ako pero share ko ito bout sa nabasa k rin at experience, baka makatulong to fellow engineering students:

1.) Concentrate more on major/core subjects than minor and basic engineering courses
Most tend to concentrate on every subject or balance their time on all subjects especially those aiming for Dean's Lister and Honor. Although its never wrong or bad to aim for this but somehow it has a disadvantage wherein you can't study or research more on your main core subjects.

2.) Don't be satisfied with what's being discussed in classes or lectures
Lectures are aimed to introduce concepts and principles to students. In order to enhance or master your skills on the topics discussed, you have to go read/research and apply these principles / theories to projects.

3.)Never hesitate to ask help to your instructors on things you are confused or want to know

4.)Be close to your professors
It's easier and comfortable to ask things or ask help when you're close to him/her.

5.)If there's no project given to your class, ask for it
If your professor doesn't give your class a project especially on microcontrollers/electronics/programming subjects, always ask for it. Projects are very important for there you will apply what you've learned from the subject. And it is very educational and adds to your experience.

6.)Join interdisciplinary organizations
Join this kind of organization like for example robotics team, electronics team. Because you'll learn many things from your fellow members/team. They can help you on things you don't know and because you'll work on an interdisciplinary project like a robot, then you'll be sharing knowledge which in turn really adds up to your knowledge and experience

7.)As early as you can, start thinking of your thesis proposal and project
The earlier the better because you can prepare and ask professors about this. Although you still lack sufficient knowledge for your thesis but by constantly researching you'll learn many things from time to time and as time passes by your idea of your project will be added.

8.)Always test theories to actual circuits/hardware.
You'll really learn of you implement these things to true harwdware. Or if you don't have, at least try it on circuit simulators it helps.

9.)Always be positive
Be positive on your thinking. Even when things get worse, always think positive that in the end you'll overcome this and accomplish it.

paki add nlng po sa mga experts dyan..thnks ^^

Thanks
