Conserve Water; Drink Beer!

« on: February 18, 2009, 08:01:53 AM »

A few days ago I was complaining with one of my friend from divisoria, about how I find it hard to sleep in the day, (GY shift ako, di ako aswang) because of temperature in my apartment. Tapos the day after bigla na lang meron ng IWATA Aircon na hinatid sa bahay based sa pinagkunan nya about 3/4 HP daw yun. I find it hard to read the specification sheet sa side kasi nihongo nakasulat, I was wondering what specs of Stepdown transformer shall I use for this.

Cheesy Okey ba? hehehe

Thanks in Advance!

nakabili na me jan 4 years ago.so far so good nman performance.kailgan mo lng test maige bago mo kunin.paandarin mo AC unit muna dun.tapos

But you have to put proper protection for the transformer at yung air-con mo.

Kailangan makapal ang secondary windings nung trasformer to accommodate the higher current ratings.  Pagawa ka na lang ng 110V outlet by using one line of the 220V line but take note of the wire gauge to use dahil double ang current rating niya.  Also make sure that you have a very good grounding for the earth connection.

Ang mahal ng mga transformer that is more than 1KW, nasa 4K pataas.

I would not suggest this, unless you can bond your "grounding" connections to the meralco transformer secondary grounding. the voltage will be very unstable and could damage your motor.
