Surviellance Camera Email Alert Motion Detection Not Working

Anyways mga sir and mam, any thoughts po regarding surviellance camera na may email alert motion detection function, tapos even if na set mo na configuration (outcoming smtp server) di pa rin nag wo-work? thanks in advance.

db gumagamit ito ng IP address na provided nung company??

opo. ganito po set-up router-surveillance camera, tapos dun po sa configuration ng camera naka save yung naka enable po ung email alert when motion detected, nka set po xa sa smtp mail server (ex. smtp.yahoo.com), tapos po every time may na dedetect na motion ung camera automatic po na se-send un sa email na naka configure.. ummmm its not working.. i dont know why.

Yeah I get the idea kasi nakapag.install din ako nitong IP-Cam before but this email-alert thing is new to me. Maybe you just have to check your configuration once more. Check it baka may na miss ka lng na econfigure. Or better ask a tech representative from the company where you purchase those Cam.

Malamang di gumagana yung outgoing smtp server or di nagfoforward ng mail na galing sa IP address mo yung smtp server.  The best is to use the smtp server of the isp you are using since you have an account there and can authenticate you for outbound email.
