First post.
Halos naging condi na ako sa BE last October, 1 point na lang sa GEAS, and no one in my school passed it.
She did whatever she can to pass. Unfortunately, even when I prayed na sana sya na lang ang pumasa, my prayers were not heard.
My family told me to work; my Daddy was already planning to retire from his job, sabi nya okay na yung pagiging Career Service Exam passer ko. But whenever I look at my grades, parang gusto ko pang bigyan ng isang shot, considering that I didn't want to study anyway (In the first place, being an ECE wasn't my choice but I took it anyway because I didn't know what course I did prefer, and it was something my Dad picked for me). I knew that being a licensed ECE doesn't have any substance, but I have a reason why I wanted it very badly.
After some series of arguments, eto, nag-rerefresher ako ngayon with three of my friends, kasama yung minention ko kanina. Pinagpilitan nya talaga yun, and her father gladly supported her kahit na lubog na sila sa utang.
I guess I'll have to research well for the answers.
Wala lang, nagshe-share lang ako, medyo emo/sentimental but I want to share it anyway. Ang sa akin lang, balewala ang pagpupuyat if you don't take into heart what you're studying. And unfortunately, nasa school din yan, partly. (And yes, malaki ang regard ko sa mga galing sa provincial colleges/universities kasi masisipag talaga sila [if not all, most of them].)

+1 For a really touching reality. Pero in my part, its not that important. Sa mga fresh graduates, I guess its their only edge to thousands of others. This is sad but true.

Passing the board exam is not everything. Your ECE or EE license is not recognized in Canada.

failing is an option.
One should not be affected by the result of the board exam. Passing or failing does not matter. The preparation for the board exam alone enhances one's knowledge and understanding of the profession and will be useful in one's future jobs. If your future plan is to build an engineering career in the Philippines or Middle East, an ECE license is a good advantage. If you plan to migrate to North America, Europe, your ECE license is useless.

Walang kwenta ang ECE license to tell you the truth. Unless you work in government and become corrupt.

here in us certification din ang mas kailangan majority sa mga company. you must have a product knowledge talaga. I have several product certification here and talgang ito ang mas kailangan.

"Prayers cannot change God, it changes You..."
dahil habang may buhay, may pag-asa!!!!
