i'm not against certification exam.  Ako nga kahit licensed ECE ako, balak kong kumuha ng National Certification sa TESDA, it will be all about computers kukunin ko, dati noong NMYC pa meron akong 3rd class consumer electronics na certification. But having a license is in accordance with existing philippine laws particularly RA 9292.  May mga jobs kasi na only a license ECE can supervise not just anybody nor a COE kahit anong dami pang certification exam meron ka.  Alin ba ang mas mahirap ipasa, certification or board exam?
sir what do you, even Computer engineering can take the board of the EE(electronic engineering?

"Maybe", because there are too many private companies governing certifications
like CISCO, Microsoft etc. Maybe they are more knowledgeable measuring individual skill. They are more knowledgeable in setting certain standard for specific skill.
Just my thoughts.
