do you mean "rain gauge" yung nag-mi-measure ng amount of rainfall or something that tells you kung umuulan na? ..

Dalawa ang most common rain sensor na ginagamit.
1st - water resistance - may two conductor na nagmemeasure ng resistance inbetween ngaun if may water sa pag-itan tataas ang resistance. 2nd - optical - may ir emmiter ka at ir reciever na nakatutok sa windshield. kung wla rain maganda ang reflection ng IR pero if meron refracted ang IR kya konti lang marerecieve.
Simple lang un una at di mo na kailangan ng MCU. 555 timer lang ginamit ko.

PCB lang ginamit ko. Isipin mo dalawang suklay na magkaharapan. ung isang suklay connected sa isang terminal tapos ung isa sa isa. Alternate ang conductor kya kung may water in between tataas ang resistance.

Kaso very inefficient ito. Magcocorrode yung anode in time. Pero pwede ring gawing replaceable yung anode. Palitan na lang pag nagcorrode na.

sabi nga ni sir nomad nakaetch sa pcb parang dalawang suklay naka interlace, yan ang magiging probe, kapag may resistance in between mag cocontact sya, gumamit ka ng op amp as amplifier para super sensitive para kahit talsik ng laway madedetect

Here's your suklay:  Mag-etch ng ganyan sa PCB, one suklay connected to the positive; the other suklay to the negative. Pag napatakan ng tubig, the PCB shorts out & it will work as a closed switch (provided na dadaloy ang kuryente dun sa tubig).

I'm not familiar with tin coating. Hindi ba mababawasan ang conductivity kasi hindi naman kasing conductive ng copper ang tin? Parang kung ulan kasi ang usapan, you'll need the most conductive material available, syepre yung kaya ng budget kaya tanggalin na sa usapan ang silver, kasi hindi naman gaanong conductive ang tubig. Yung demo nga namin about our rain sensor, dinugas ko na lang eh. Nilagyan ko ng asin yung tubig na binubuhos namin sa sensor para todo conduct sya.

actually baliktad po ang nangyayari  pag walang tubig high resistance pag nagkaroon ng tubig bababa ang resistance

actually baliktad po ang nangyayari  pag walang tubig high resistance pag nagkaroon ng tubig bababa ang resistance  tama ka bata salamat sa pag-tatama.
