nagtry me palitan ung voltage divider ginawa kong 100 ohms at 220 ohms kya umabot na ng 15.6mA. Di kya sa terminal connection ng lcd papuntang PCB ko. Ginawa ko lang ksi ung pattern sa eagle.

Ung backlight ng 5110 nasa gilid ng board pero di pa rin ksama sa LCD mismo.

Rafft, ok pala yan sa actual keysa sa proteus simulation..
parang nate-tempt akong gumawa ng pocket LC meter.. hehe
low power lang ba yang 3310 LCD? Huh ilang mAmps ang consumption nya? Huh

hmmmmm di ko sure eh.. yung temp meter ko run @ 20MHz consumes almost 12mA.. if run on 4MHz xtal medyo mababa, mga 7-8mA... im using genuine LM34DZ(Fahrenheit) from NatSemi.... sabi uA lang consumpt nun.. wala rin akong backlights... so nasa PIC talaga ang power hungry.. even with the ADC turned OFF, ilang mA lang nabawas( 0.2mA)....btw, gamit ko F876-04/P (4MHz)

try mo bro yung ginawa ni yus na diode voltage drops.  trial and error mo na lang bro ang pagdagdag ng diode kasi hinde sakto sa 0.7 ang Vf ng diodes...

para MAS SURE, gumamit ka nalang ng zener(3.5V) + 330R droping resistor... AND 4k7 limiting resistors for the data lines... YAN angsetup ko ngayun.... sa 3530 LC scope naman, I did use 3 diodes in series(+1k shunt to GND)..... both setup works

iba yata pinout ng 3210... di pa ako nakaka subok nun... lcd kasi ng 3310 ko ay may connectors na... medyo "allergic" ako gumamit ng mga rubber conductors eh... Smiley yan ang nakaka tamad, mag etch PCB for the LCD connections...

I have also read  from some forum na yung 3310 and 5110 LCD are the same(ewan if pinouts or of function)....

rubber ang connector ng 3310 ko hindi kya ito ang problema. bka kci replacement na rin ito dahil may sticker sa tabi.

Sariling gawa (etch) ko rin ang pcb.

Ung 5110 po 9pin ung 3310 8pin lang.

yup..dalawa klase ng 3310 connectors.. eto kasi sa akin, eh orig pa ito... galing sa pinaayos na CP na sira... eh di na kinuha sa akin, so ginamit ko nalang.. hehehe

at last , nagamit din.....

di ko pa nasubukan i-derekta.. pwede cguro IF may METAL connectors na siya...

pero ang ginamit mo rubber connector parin nag LCD? wala ako mabilhan dito sa 'amin nag copper connector, yung clip lang...
