Its a lot of bullshit, you mean dapat member ka ng IECEP of good standing to maintain or renew your license?  Then you also need to earn cpe points again?  I thought matagal na nilang inabolish yung practice na yun?  Working alone in your own job already constitutes continuous professional education as you constantly have to update yourself with the current trends in technology and that alone has far more weight than any amount of training or seminar you attend.

I have only renewed my license once and never did I renewed again.  The license is totally useless unless you plan to teach or work for the government.  The only good thing I had with having an ece license before was being able to use the license card as a valid government issued id card.

Ibinalik na nila ngayon... Smiley

Ang hirap dito kasi you need 60 CPE units for three years. Dapat sana binabaan na lang say mga 30 or 40 CPE units kasi magastos din mag attend ng IECEP seminars/trainings at hirap din pumayag ang mga company kung palaging out ka for training.

What's your comment guys?

Tama ba yun?

I somehow agree with this.  They must somehow honor technical trainings given by your employers specially if these trainings are related to your work as an electronics engineer.  Some of these trainings are even more technically deeper than most trainings that I've attended from IECEP.  I got really frustrated with the last one I attended (IECEP sponsored) since it was more of a product overview rather than technical training.
