I think it will be avaialable very soon .  As of now kasi, itong Digital Tone Control na ito ay ginagamit na platform to study Intel 8051 MCU programming in music reproduction.

I think the issue now is,  will it offer as an Educational Kit or simply hobbyists DIY Kit.

Educational Trainer Kit to Learn MCU Programming to control the TDA7442D digitally controlled surround processor, Infrared remote control, LCD, manual keys, etc.  it will be a complete package with Training materials, program source code, Complete User Manual, applications and  interface.

Hobbyist DIY KIt
, simply the User Manual, Assembly instruction, simple block diagram and circuit explanation. applications and interface.

I am reviving it....... for 2011.

Anyway,  here is the good thing about this :
++  Trying to Produce Surround Sound on the same Front Speakers   (No rear speakers),  and you can do this (but not always 100%), but it addss flavour to your listening pleasure.   And the secret is,  how good the  technique to implement the idea via software code.

++ a mono signal can be re-create a surround effect
++ a stereo signal can create several surround effect  (depende sa selection and programming), some are matrix surround, natural surround.    Perhaps other people will called it as SPATIAL effect,   its like making the sound on the speaker ---  as if you are moving the speakers farther apart, making the acoustic receiver by our ear better.

If you put the speaker closely, physically -- the stereophonic effect is not so good - hard to feel the stereophonic effect,  with spatial effect,  you can acoustically make that effect, as if you move the speakers farther -  acoustically the sound perceived by the ears is spreading.

Well,  for Audio Hobbyist like me ,  this is just another Fun,  diy study of Hardware Interfacing, , acoustic + programming.  It is not about  "Power"  or How Strong the Music is,   .............................................. it is about the Quality of Music.

Pardon me for being slow <my real project with Android gets crazy and I am stuck up for several months already, but  I am still keep going>......  I will little by little update this thread  on the documents.

Hi,   check this out  -   the DATC Learning Platform   http://www.1diycentre.com/DIYers_Space_files/Page1109.htm

Kung gusto mo ikaw mismo ang gagawa ng Firmware -  puwedeng puwede.!

General update:
We have plan to re-design the DATC,  allowing other processor like EMC, PIC, Zilog, etc to be used instead of its dedicated Atmel .    Other option is to have another Digital Tone Control  using SRS IC (Sound Retrieval Systems).

We believe that Tone Control is the key to make music sounds better - a Quality Music that we always wanted to hear,  that is why,  we exert effort, time and money on Tone Control Development, with lots of adventure, Learning and fun.

As, I.... my friends believe in the power of "Teamwork", I inviting everyone for the development of Future  Digital Tone Controls.  We are moving forware to share the Software Point of view of DATC Tone Control.

To know more about the Digital Tone Control,  click this,   http://www.1diycentre.com/DIYers_Space_files/Page500.htm
