my suggestion poh b kau qabout this topic..

cable tester n pwede niang i-detect qng anung type cia ng cable qng crossover,straight,or rollover..taz kaya niang i-identfy qng my maling pin kang nalagay xa rj-45...

eto sana gusto kong gawin proposal nmin..

my similarity xa proposal ni nomadz pero until now ala ciang reply...

pwede na ang microcontroller like pic16f84a.

The 10/100Mbps ethernet only uses 4 wires out of the 8. You can test these 4 wires only.

I assume that you know how to use microcontrollers. Connect the 4 wires to 4 output pins of the microcontroller, then the other end of the wires to 4 input pins of the microcontroller.

Then in your MCU program, send out signals from the output pins which will be read by the input pins (the signal travel via the wires). The presence or absence of the signal will indicate the right or wrong connections. You can interpret this connections in your program.

You may then output the result via LED indicators

ang ginamit ko dito eh 16f877 ksi may lcd display. Madali lang detection ng cable connection ang problema lang eh paano mo madedetect kung may problema ang cable.
