Automatic Door – access secured door using a barcode and security pin. The circuit consists of an LCD, barcode reader and an MCU.
Remote Controlled Blimp – control an inflatable balloon with surveillance camera connected. Controls are via personal computer or a portable remote. The video is also feed to the computer.
Wireless Light Control – control light using Bluetooth technology. Control can be a personal computer or via a portable remote. A status light indicates whether the light is on or off.
Prepaid Cell Phone Charger – prepaid cell phone charger with security lock. The cell phone is protected by a security pin that the owner will enter.
Chronolog Timer Keeper – same as a commercial chronolog time keeper which uses either a barcode, RFID or a keypad. Data is saved to an eeprom which can be fetched by a personal computer. It uses a real time clock to keep a precise time.
MCU Controlled Guide – the guide of a circular saw is controlled by a MCU. The measurement is entered via a keypad. There are two units selectable via keypad (inches and centimetre).
Entry Logger – every entry is logged and saved into a personal computer. It uses barcode and keypad as entry module. A visual basic program is running on the personal computer. The barcode and the keypad are connected to a MCU.
GSM Kilowatt Hour – kilowatt hour reading is sent via GSM modem. Data are sent every predetermined time (every minute, hour, day and month). A breaker is also connected in which it is controlled via text messages.
Prepaid Electric – kilowatt hour meter measures the consumption and deduct it to the available load. Loads are sent via GSM modem in 300, 500 and 1000 denomination. A breaker is also connected in which it is controlled via text messages.
GSM Based Car Alarm – alarm circuit which sends messages if there is a security breach (ex. Doors are opened, motion detected and engine is started). An engine cut off can also be installed and controlled via text messages.
GSM Door Lock – the door lock can be opened by a text messages or by a local keypad. An authorized user can change the pin code and mobile number of the user. Access to the lock is sent to the administrator via text messages.
PC Light Control – control lighting via personal computer. The status of the light is indicated on the screen. A visual basic program is running on the personal computer.
Automated Projector Screen – projector screen is lowered and rolled-up automatically using an ordinary infrared TV control.
Bluetooth Security System – a security system which uses Bluetooth technology for wireless connection. Alarms are sent to a personal computer or a portable device.
Temperature Controller – an output is controlled by a digital thermometer. There are four relay controlled in this manner:
a. Relay1 is on if the temperature is lower than the low setting
b. Relay2 is on if the temperature is higher than the high setting
c. Relay3 is on if the temperature is higher than the very high setting
d. Relay4 is on if the temperature is lower than the low setting and turns off if the temperature reached the high setting.
The settings can be changed via keypad and can be saved in the eeprom so it is retained even if the power is cut off.
Thermo Hygrometer w/ Temperature Controller – same as temperature controller except it has a relative humidity sensor. Current temperature and relative humidity is displayed on the LCD.
Wireless Thermo Hygrometer – the temperature and relative humidity are transmitted via Bluetooth. Data are sent to the computer which are logged and saved. Controls are also available which controls the output of the remote unit. Inputs to the remote unit can also be monitored.
Time-Based Security Lock – locks can only be opened during office hour. If three consecutive incorrect pins are entered it cannot be opened until the next day. A real time clock is used to achieve precise timing.
PIC Trainer – this is a microcontroller trainer which include LCD, LED indicator, input switches, seven segment display, keypad, serial interface and an infrared receiver.
Automatic UTP Cable Tester – a UTP cable tester which is used to test patch cable automatically. There are three available cable configurations (straight, crossed and rollover). Cable fault is displayed on the LCD.
Security Based System – alarm system which uses different kind of sensors such as PIR, touch, motion, vibration, sound and contact break. It can be wired or wireless, PC or MCU based.
