Learning how to test electronics components out of circuit is a good start. Emphasis is placed on start to remind begineers that this is just really a starting point. The logical next and more important step is to learn how to test the components in-circuit. Why? Most probably, gusto mong malaman kung sira nga ang component kasi di gumagana ang circuit mo. Unless you are working on a breadboard, it will be very inconvenient and time consuming to yank out a component for testing. Remember, in real world, yung mga components are already soldered in the PCB. And I guarantee you will do more harm than good in your circuit assembly if you do your component testing the out-of-circuit way.

Maganda yung link na binigay ni nomad13, it included a short discussion tungkol sa curve tracer (sometimes called a signature analyzer). Madaling gawin. And with the help of MCU experts dito sa forum, it should not be hard to design a version where curve is displayed in the PC screen rather than on an oscilloscope. Cheesy Grin
