Madami sa atin hirap magwelding, not only because wala tayo skills para dun kundi wala din tayo equipment or mahal para sa atin equipment para magwelding.

Naging limitation tuloy para sa ating mga hobbyist ang assembly ng mga metal part because there's no ay for us to work on metals.

Here's what I found on the net, brazing, a technique more similar to soldering.
http://www.handyharmancanada.com/TheBrazingBook/Section%201/What%20brazing%20is%20all%20about/Part%201.htm#What%20is%20brazing

Discuss natin...
May nakapagtry na ba dito nito?
Saan makakabili ng mga gamit nito?
   Brazing Rod, torch, etc.
Magkano?
Ano mga naging problem nyo with this technique?

Pwede kaya yun?

last year nung may office pa kami sa makati, we rented an apartment converted to an office. tapos yung mayari nung place may auto body shop sa tapat. eh since mahilig ako sa mga fabrication ng kung anuano, pag walang magawa sa office eh lagi akong nakikiuzi sa mga latero dun.

gamit nila acetylene torch para sa body repair, tapos to my surprise yung gamit nilang filler na metal(=to soldering lead sa atin) ay simpleng alambre lang Shocked  as in pang sampayan na alambre, di ko lang alam kung anong guage pero alambre.

ang nakikita kong disadvantage ay medyo bulky yung mga tanke ng oxygen at acetylene pero yung torch mismo eh mura lang ata, lalo na kung sa ongpin ka bumili. tapos before sa taguig ata yon may nakikita akong for rent na mga acetylene tanks together with the oxygen, idedeliver din ata parang lpg.

pero sabi ng latero dun sa office dati, you have to get it right the first time kasi lulutong daw yung bakal, iguess kasi sheet metal ang trinatrabaho niya. Tongue

hehe nakikihiram lang ako nang inverter TIG (gtaw) welding machine sa office. yep bulky yung tanks (argon) pero i think this is the best welding machine. lalo na sa mga repairs. MADALI LANG MAG TIG! walang spatter, walang slag, walang pangit na welds, practice lang, kesa sa stick weld (smaw) pwede pang brazing din ang tig, kung lead gagamitin. basta may gas mask. kukulo ang tinga sa tig. bro and sis tanong ko lang kung meron nang nakasubok nitong product na to and kung may alam silang supplier dito sa pinas, its durafix. its for aluminum brazing pero propane torch lang eh pwede na. eto yung link sa video
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-85515200479269460

http://video.aol.com/video-detail/durafix-aluminium-welding-review/843320281

nagemail na ko sa kanila about their supplier dito pero sabi nila pumalpak daw yung kausap nila dito but their working on a new contact.

nasubukan ko na rin gumamit nung brazing rod na pang repair ng mga aluminum tube ng aircon pero ang hirap niyang gamitin, naunang matunaw yung sheet aluminum kesa dun sa rod hehehe Grin
