nung 2002, nagapply ako sa omanfil, nung 2005 sa East West .....

i paid 5k pesos processing fee to East West, the employer took care of the rest .....

am now working in United Arab Emirates.... , iba na employer ko as i had finished my contract with the previous one ....

kung pupunta kayo for work abroad, make sure you go thru the proper channels and consult the POEA. Better be safe than sorry.

At itong site na 'to ay isang example- see thread on jobs....

Smiley

Try mo rin  workabroad.ph, opening dyan puro abroad talaga. At sure k dyan kasi partner nila ang POEA.

Migrated to CANADA just this past few months (2007)...

To tell you frankly, mahirap ang buhay dito. If you are alright sa job mo dyan sa Pilipinas, better think twice.
I'm not telling you these para to discourage you.
Mahirap ,dahil di nila credited ang experiences mo. They need Canadian Experience!
Lalu na sa Credentials mo sa School.
So you have to start from scratch! (Okey lang if meron kang connection dito) and try to enroll to some school programs.
But what I have observeed also are those na naging maganda ang takbo ng buhay nila.
These are the immigrants that stayed here for almost 15 years! So may pag-asa pa! hehhehe...

I worked as a General Labourer dito, and just recently napasok sa isang sales/tech sa isang Computer Store. Swerte na nga daw
sabi ng iba na andito.

Well, swerte swerte lang naman yan... It differs from any individual.
Masasabi ko lang, If you have the GUTS! Then go for it!

thanks for sharing pre. For me i have known all along na mahirap talaga magstart diyan sa canada. my wife and mom is into the business of sending people abroad, so we have made done some research sa buhay dyan.

If you are an ECE/COE/EE and you want a job abroad na inline sa profession mo, i suggest magmasters muna kayo (2 years lang naman diba, atmost 3years, kunting sacrifice lang), specialize one or two specific but related skills, then apply abroad. Try nyo London. As far as i know oki yata doon, i might be wrong pero sa tingin ko maganda doon. Google nyo nalang job vacancies marami talaga.

as far as i know, pwede po tayo makapunta sa singapore at doon na magjob hunting. No tourist visa required. All you need is a show money at least P100,000.00 before the singapore embassy will allow you to buy a plane ticket. You can stay there for atmost 21 days. Hanap ka ng maganda trabaho and if you get a job before the 21-day window lapse, you can then apply for a working visa doon na mismo sa singapore.

Nung ako pumunta ng Canada I prepare for the worst job that I could land into. Kahit tagabuhat sa The Bricks kukunin ko. What I did is that I challenge the opportunities here, I am confident na makakuha ako ng job sa IT. In one strike of luck eto andito pa rin ako sa first job ko sa Canada.

Advise ko lang, if you really have that experience, you have that confident to do it. I have interviewed some applicant sa company namin and I tell you frankly, mas maraming pinoy na kakilala ko ang may mas magandang experience sa kanila.

nasa Vancouver ka pala!

yup, before we migrated here... I really expected the worst!
But lucky enough to find a job in a Factory making paintballs!
(Since we landed on Friday, at nakakuha ako ng trabaho sa Tuesday!)

This is my 4th job now, as a sales/technical person sa isang COMPUTER SELLER dito sa Ontario.

The best way to land a job in the US, Canada, Australia, etc, with your current line of work is working for a multinational company and get transferred to the country you want to migrate in.

Pwede ka mag hanap ng job dun up to 1 year. Wala bayad yan.

Sa barko, considered na abroad job din? Anyway kahit hindi, nakatype na ako eh...

In my case, I started may career in maintenance field in the industrial plants in the Philippines. Then after nearly 4 years experience sa pagbubutingting, I tried my luck in shipboard job thru' Magsaysay Maritime Corporation. If you are interested you can try sending resume thru' their online application... search mo lang magsaysay...

Also another option is to look personally for the job openings posted in different booths/stalls in the Seafarers' area in Kalaw Street in Manila near the City Library sa Rizal park.

Both EE and ECE are accepted in Electrical and Electronics jobs on board the ship.

Dito ko ngaun sa singapore to be exact, this coming april 25 will be my 3rd year dito sa singapore.
Im very happy and very contented naman sa salary ko..nagsimula ako bilang technician trainee earning 450SGD(15K pesos)naghahatak ng cable taga sunod sa mga engineer.. by the way during that time im 24yirs old i give up my work dito sa manila para magpaalila.hehehe...so after 8 months my boss boss..boss ng boss ko..offered me to become an engineer..maybe they think i can do better than a normal tech..heheheh(swerte)..so ngaun im still working here, on same company. and I already got my permanent residence here in singapore.

Thats why nag papasalamat ako kay God na binigyan nya ko ng ganitong blessings..i will not forget it for the rest of my life.
