Hi guys let's talk about yung mga ginagamit na programming language for database ngayon sa mga companies. Anu ano na ba ang mga hinahanap ng mga companies sa mga hinahire nila pagdating sa database management? Anu ang kailangan matutunan ngayon ng mga estudyante para pagdating nila sa real world ay equipped na sila?

Konting update lang po tayo. Lalo na po dun sa mga nagwowork sa mga companies na kailangan may alam ka sa database management. Share lang ako ng konti. Nabanggit kasi sakin ng tita ko na HR sa isang IT company na hindi na daw ginagamit yung visual basic. Iba na daw yung hinahanap nila sa mga nagaaply sa kanila. May nabanggit siya na software na hindi ako familiar kaya nakalimutan ko na ang pangalan (itatanong ko nalang kapag nagkita ulit kami).

Paliitin pa natin yung usapan. Ginagamit pa ba sa labas ang mga tinuturo sa eskwelahan ngayon na visual basic? panu yung mga oracle at iba pa?

Anu para sa inyo ang pinakamagandang software na nagamit nyo sa paggagawa ng database?

Pwede din po kayo magshare ng anything na maaaring makatulong sa aming mga nagaaral ng database management

well i think.. if you have installed the microsoft office package.. the "microsoft office access" is a good way to start to learn the basics of database management system.. as well as with the Sesame database manager program.. or if you're using GNOME office.. there's a one package there which is also used for database application which is the GNOME-DB..

usually .NET software programming like C# and VB are strong packages for database programming.. try to work also with SQL start with open source like postgreSQL.. only seldom i see here in forum touches about the Habanero .NET, NeoDatis ODB, Lucid DB and Monet DB.. of which it is also a good start to learn about database management systems as well as with the Flock DB wherein the twitter program is using..

don't forget to use the counterpart of microsoft which is linux and/or unix.. nowadays, most of the companies database management systems do run on these platforms.. so try to work with the basics of "open source" operating systems..
