http://www.e-gizmo.com/pmaster.php?dpage=PRODUCT/ROBOT/motor.htm

run it at 12 v then it would almost turn half as much(speed/torque.)
check for availability first sa e-gizmo.
much better na ipatest mo sa kanila to see how it performed for your application.

arcturus,

Have you checked the voltage at the motor's terminal? maybe theres a large drop kaya mahina ang takbo ng motor..

- i believe naka darlington lang yan sa loob eh baka kulang yung bias current kaya mahina..how about trying to put a buffer before the inputs to the driver para may current boost ka dun or maybe pullup resistors will do.

- paki check mo na rin yung resistance accross ng terminals ng motor mo kc i think up to 1A lang ang rating ng l293d..  12/Resistance = current Note that this current is during no load - no velocity conditions and will change during operation, pag naglalagay ka na ng load sa motor or reverse voltages and currents might be present due to the switching sa brushes (if brushed motor yan)
