HDD no icon pero may laman, virus??

mga master's patulong 

yong gamit kong pc now na virus ata..nagslave lang ako ng HDD
galing sa friend ko.

      Una lahat ng icon ko sa partition ko naging parang 2d yong folder, tapos restart ko sumunod naman naging dos yong mga icon., iniscan ko ng antivirus delete all ko lahat ng virus
nawala naman yong icon. pero kapag right click properties ko naman sya may laman andun parin 80gb files ko.

mga mga master big help po. importante lahat ng files ko.

sana marecover ko po lahat

try this:

1. Goto Command Prompt
2. type "D:" assuming Drive D: is your Slave HDD
3. type "dir/ah" without quotes... if you see all your files there then proceed to step 4
4. type "attrib -s -h -r -a d:\*.* /S"

type those commands without quotes ("")

you may want to try "attrib -h  d:\*.* /S" matagal yan pag marami masyadong files =)

dir/s >> list.txt

at

dir/ah >> archive.txt

then paste mo dito yung laman =)

wala pong kahit anong folder sa locad D ko..

nung ginawa ko yan nagkaron lang po ng notepad icon nakasulat lahat ng mga list ng mga files ko at meron isang notepad icon na archieve.

may nagturo po sakin master..

gumamit po ako ng winrar, under file,change disk, local d lumabas lahat ng icon ng file ko tapos lahat ng file ko add to archieve ko sa ibang HDD nag slave po ako ng HDD para  i backup files ko, inabot nga ng halos 6 hours sa pag archieve ng files..

ok na po ba yon master? format ko nalang ba ulet pc ko at ibalik yong ginawa kong archieve files after kong format?

pero master gusto ko bumalik sa normal yong HDD ko?

Kung nabackup mo na important files at installation key mo. At due for reformat na yan. Bat di mo subukan to boot on safemode kung xp gamit mo na OS. Kapag nakapagboot install malwarebytes anti malware then update its virus scan definition mbam rules to be exact. Then scan.

Sigurado babalik lang yang infection na ganyan. Kaya ngayon palang hanapan mo na ng solusyon.

sige mga master format ko nalang muna at yong archieve files na backup ko try ko extract after format..

update ko po kayo kong pagextract ko ng files ko eh kasama ang virus at bumalik lang sa dati..

Pahabol lang kahit hindi ako expert. @ TS, I assumed na ang option mo nalang ngayon ay mag reformat dahil kahit maalis na yang lahat ng virus, malaki ang chance na marami pa ring pinsala ang nagawa ng virus sa system mo. So before reformat, back up ka muna. You could use a bootable back up software. Usually Linux based sila tulad ng sabi ni sir soʇuǝɔ.
Example of such programs is acronis. Or you could use Hiren's BootCD, which is a collection of such programs. Burm mo lang sa CD yun para maging bootable and your good to go. Pero dapat study mo muna yung mga software na yan kasi matindi ang mga software na yan. Baka mas lalong lumala ang problem mo (joke). Pero pag na master mo na or at least natutunan mo na, restoring your system from a major crash would only take 30 mins, based sa na experience ko.
Pero hindi naman po advisable na pag nagkavirus system mo, reformat agad. Hindi tayo matuto noon. Inggit ako ni master gigz at ibang master, talagang lalabanan yung virus. 

By the way bakit hindi mo nalang i-slave sa ibang PC yung hard drive mo, and scan it for viruses? But first make sure to disable yung autorun to all drives sa PC na pag insertan mo para hindi magka naman magka virus.

galing nyo naman mga master's, marami akong matutunan dito... nakikita ko nalang yong laman ng hdd ko kapag binuksan ko sya sa winrar.. nasubukan ko na gumamit ng acronis bigay sakin ni @ultrasonic.

hindi ko pa master pero nakagawa ako ng image ng files ko. masmaliit ng 10gig yong image kesa sa files ko. yong bootable na sinasabi mo master @pulang_kabayo hindi ko pa nasubukan.

isa pa pala master's pde bang iscan ng antivirus ang archieve file? matatagalang ba virus dun? ginawa ko kasing archieve. yong sa winrar yong infected files ko eh.

make it a habit after a clean install of windows (xp, vista or 7) to use hijackthis from trendmicro. save a log file and compare it everytime you install a software. Dito mo makikita kung ano yung bago sa original configuration ng windows mo.
