Acer aspire 4710 BIOS password

good day everyone... i have here a laptop Acer Aspire 4710 who had a BIOS password...it's not mine originally, it was just turn over to me... the OS is corrupt and i need to reformat it. I need to make my optical drive as a 1st boot so that i can install my OS. the problem is the BIOS has a password... i opened the laptop and i remove the CMOS battery and shorted it so that it will return to default and i did it for one day, when i returned everything... the password is still there.... i even use the CMD bios password remover and it didn't work either... I appreciate so much any help..thank you!
