Information to all handy cafe users... I've been using Handy cafe for over 3 years already. Handy cafe is good and i'd like to share with you some problems I've encountered before. I have another two routers, the first one is modem router from globe and the second one is another router from d-link. I installed handy cafe server to my server and installed handy cafe client to all computer. Then I checked my network connections from control panel, I saw two icons: Internet icon and local area connection icon. This means that they are working well and i got no problem with my server and can detect the client automatically, surfing internet sharing, everything is working fine........

One day my second router d-link died. I removed my d-link router and my server cannot detect some of the client anymore. I reinstall handy cafe again and again.... but the problem keeps on coming back.... I checked my network connection under control panel and found only the local area connection icon.... the internet icon was gone.... but i got no problem with surfing... all client can connect to internet... the only problem is the server cannot detect the clients.

do you know what i did to solve the problem... I established permanent IP address. I went to control panel,  Network and internet connections, Network connections, right-click on the local area connections, properties, then click on internet protocol (TCP/IP) then click properties. then checked use the following address. If you dont know how to make permanent IP address just search under google.

After that I went to the OPTION of all the client and unchecked the auto and place the IP address of the server under server IP / Host.... BINGO.... got no problem with the Client Server of Handy Cafe.....

tama ka dyan tol...naghahanap kasi ang client ng server..dapat ang server mo sa handycafe has static IP or permanent IP..^_^
