im also using a 300w computer psu for my 25w 28H.  no modification was made to the psu, i just use its 12v output to power my rig.  di ko pa nasusubukasn sa 45w kung kakayanin.

what I did is to use 3 units of PC PSU and use the 5VDC output connected in series to produce 15V output.

Series connected not parallel direct connection + to - for each pc means parallel connected. Series is + of ps1 to - of ps2 and + of ps2 to - of ps3

Hi Good Friends! yup the computer PS is a good source of 5V and 12 v. Yes, three PSU's can be wired in series(3x12=36V, 3x5=15 v). Costwise,if you have to buy 3 surplus psu at P200 a piece, you might consider a 500w or 600 watt PSU where the 12v goes to 20 amperes at a cost of P700-900- brand new. The load sensing is on the 5V, so always load your 5v line. A 6V auto bulb for the older VW will do. A resistor will also swork. three  5v in series is neat cuz the sensing is there.  You may also parrallel 3 12v lines. There is a way to increase the voltage but modifications have to be made inside. Series 3 5volt lines is neater.

wo pSu  meron akong spare d2 pero di ko pa na try gamitin, if i will use 12+ at yung blk ng -12  without any modification  pwede ko kayang gamitin ito para sa king tm261A kenwood, di kaya bumagsak ang PSu??
sana me post na pic d2 to see kung tama ang gagawin ko.

any way, DY1-Lco, freq monitor, 144.940Mhz with my mini repeater 0.600+ split freq, pwede nyu gamitin, basta naka monitor ako just call me (lucio)syempre pag sumagot ako naka online ang repeater. (hehehehe)

konti pa lang gamit ko..pero sana dumami pag me nag benta ng mura...balak ko pang gumawa ng mga homebrew na medyo mura lang ang mga magagamit na parts or mga recycle na materials...on experiment pa ko to link my laptop or control the radio na parang CAT repeater ang dating with phone patch..(sana mag succeed...)

Hello DY1-LCO,  Si bamboo to ng gapo, (bravo mike bravo) and soon to be a DW3 (kung hindi magbabago ang prefix) at naipasa ko yung exam ng class C nitong nakaraan lang. kinukumpleto ko pa ung mga requirements pra makakuha ng callsign. nagtry ako sa mini repeater mo at pitik ko d2 sa olongapo city hehehe!!! ( standby freq ko ang minus 1 input freq mo) syang at madami akong PSU nung araw at ibinenta ko lng sa magbobote at binaklas ko lng ay yung mga fan nito.to think na malabong magamit as a power supply sa mga high rated radios. 73's to all!

me bago ako at nag succeed na ang pag control ng mga rigs ko via PC
me gamit ako bago software (pero luma na kc since ant unang beta nya ay 2003 pa)

Sir lucio baka meron kand idea sa value ng capacitor ng F23H, yung f23 ko nadurog yung capacitor (hindi nrin ito ang original na capacitor na nakakabit. nabili ko kasi ito 2nd hand na) balak kong palitan pero hindi ko alam yung saktong value. patulong narin sa mga nakakaalam kung ano ang value ng capacitor ng f23h. 73's to all!
