Nail? as in kuko? or nail as in "pako"
anyways. di maganda gamitin ang pako "nail" for sensing soil moisture.
"i think" para mameasure mo yung soil moisture. gagawin mong resistance probe yung nails mo. so more water means lesser resistance. or dryier means higher resistance.
di maganda gawin moisture sensor ang pako kasi iron yun. try any corrosion resistant sensors instead. Stainless or something...

may nabibili din namang stainless nails, alam ko nakagawa na nga si sir marce ng ganito, resistance meter na alternating yung polarity ng probes para maiwasan yung pagnipis/corrosion ng probes at mapanatili ang accuracy

yeah, meron ngang stainless nails. mahal! heheh
500pesos ang kilo!
bumili ako, pero i ended up using stainless welding rods. mas mura ang welding rods.
mas maganda ang welding rods kasi pwedeng baluktutin at makakadecide ka ng haba na gusto mo.

ms mura nga ang welding rods kaysa sa nails
pero pwede rin cguru yung silver rods na ginagamit sa pagrepair ng aircon 12 pesos lang isa
