Need idea about project proposal in thesis in electronics technology.

hello to all,i am BS Electronics Technology student,i need suggestion for the project proposal in our subject Research 1.with less expenses.
We are going to propose problem then make a solution for it,to construct a gadget related in electronics or maybe a combination of electrical.
Since i am new for this kind of activity i need your idea,suggestion for this,hope that anybody could share with me of some knowledge with regard to this.
Pwd din daw innovation sabi ng instructor namin,yong hindi pa nag eexcess,para ma claim na ikaw talaga gumawa,at hnd ginaya,meaning you add improvements and additional application.
