I like my Treo 600, however, when I tried to repair the transceiver, I damaged it, even more. I'm not a "hardware" person when it comes to cellphones. When I purchased my Treo 600, second hand, over a year ago, it worked fine. And then, I dropped it, causing the transmitter to malfunction. In detail, the antenna wasn't making a good contact with the PCB.

The current status of the Treo 600: Semi-operational, but unusable. Some keys do not respond. Minor wear on the LCD screen surface, but all pixels function and stylus sensitivity is normal. I recently recharged it as the battery went dead after several months in hibernation. Battery is still good!

As I mentioned, I am not a hardware person. I'm a former Palm OS software developer, and my utility software wasn't able to repair the transceiver, so I made multiple attempts in repair it on my own, and just gave up.

Any suggestions as to what I should do with my Treo 600?
