Please take note that not all TESDA National Certificates are not convertible to CSC Eligibilities.

Dahil skills din ang mga yun in which other sector needs. Ibig sabihin pag TESDA Certified ka, what you know is according to standards. For short you are a world class middle level manpower.

...daming casual sa gobyerno na more than 20 yrs...

Nagkakaroon talaga ng skills mismatch but what TESDA is promulgating was according to the demand of the industry sector. If there is a need for a specialized skills, TESDA also has the Dual Training System wherein, there is two venue for learning: school/training center and a company. In school, the trainee learns basic trade theory, work values, good citizenship, safety and related theory subjects in mathematics, drawing and social sciences. At the company or workshop, the trainees learn job skills through practical exercises using state of the art technology. Aside from technical skills, the trainees also learn good work habits and how to get along well with others. With DTS, ang mga trainees ay nagkakaroon ng up-to-date and appropriate work knowledge, skills and attitudes making them highly competitive and “wanted” in the labor market at mabawasan ang skills mismatch. The students are paying tuition fees and give back to them naman what it should worth.

TESDA in cooperation with CSC should introduce training needs for government agencies and provide CSC eligibility and testing programs for casual employees.
