I am a Computer Engineering student... i want to become a system administrator, i think it would be my future career. pwede ba akong mag-apply dito? what are the skills needed in this job? Tsaka may ano po kaya ang magandang capstone project na may kaugnayan dito sa trabahong ito?

system admin is a com sci job,

pero for me its a better to continue your comp eng , due to having advantage na may alam ka sa hardware.

actually even mag com sci ka companies is looking for certified : CISCO, MICROSOFT , certified people,
kahit di ka graduate pero kung certified ka mas lamang ka pa rin sa mga nag comsci without certification

ganun uso sa us. not acknoledgable yun mga bs comsci due to the ang requirement ay certification

more: kasi mas astig kung paano dinedesign kung alam mo pati hardware , actually minsan di mo alam hardware na yun sira due to electric distortion , atleast coe ka alam mo kung paano mag troubleshoot.

saka tapusin mo muna comp eng kasi napak flexible ka kung compeng ka .
programming, hardware, electronics etc.
hehehehe

specialty pala ROBOTiCS kung compeng. heheh.

Di ba ece pinag-aaralan din yan? almost all our subject are similar to those of COE... Cheesy iba iba na lang sa major

ung system admin sa company namin Grade 12 lang, pero may MCSE at A+ certificate.

^CoEs are flexible...pwede sa programming, electronics, firmware, design, infrastucture, scripting, database, networking at robotics... ^.^
actully ganyan ang line na napasukan ko sa isang Engineering firm ngayon...
bale Remote Infrastucture Engineering....at masaya ako... Cheesy

similar siya i am familiar with ece course, lamang ang ece sa hardaware but for me poor sila sa programming not all due to yun iba nag eextend ng studies regarding programming
ganun din kung coe ka asa middle yun dept of knowledge mo regarding electronics but you can still study more

dito sa elelab dami tutulonf sayo in both programming and hardware=))
