what do you mean by use 5v all around the circuit what are the connections .... sorry im a cting a bit dum cant help it .... i connect +ve of led to port b , -ve of led to resistor then free end of resistor to the terminal marked gnd u see in the pic ... |

do not connect anything to 12V your PIC might get fried the connection should look something like these  |

i put the code in hitech c of mplab then tried to upload the hex file . i am getting the following error on trying to program the ic i.e trying to upload the hex file into it using the programmer :
error :
ROM PROGRAMMING ERROR AT ADDRESS 0X0002
GOOD 0X2FB8
BAD 0X2F80
its a brand new ic i worked on it few times hope i didn screw it up im using pic pro software ..

have you tried to full erase the PIC and upload the hex file again? if so I think it did get fried

yea i did chip erase .... actually everytime i program it it works like it erases on its own ... so how can i be sure its fried

i am using the code u wrote i am using a locally made programmer that looks better than my dev board .... and it is usb interface type ....

THE DEV BOARD IS MANUFACTURED BY AN INDIAN COMPANY CALLED HPS THEIR WEBSITE IS www.hpsindia.com and they are bad at after sale services they too have no clue .... well its tested and others say it works i dunno ... . this dev board has no separate pins for mclr , vss , vdd , gnd i see three sets of three pins near the ac/ dc power supply they are marked as 12 , 5 and gnd i connected the -ve terminal of the led to this gnd and the positive terminal to rb2 no response supply is on and no loose connections Dont buy "INDIAN" stuff, maraming probs later.... Made of "immitations"...  ....nosebleed ka dyan palagi.... check pcb layout....baka may putol.... |
