May nakagamit na ba ng heating element ng oven toaster dito, yung oven toaster kasi na binungkal ko, naka series yung elements nya, ask ko lang kung kakayanin ba nung isang heating element ang 220 at di sya masunog?

kung sandalian lang gagamitin sir pwede naman. ganyan 'yung ginagamit ng tatay ko na substitute sa braking resistor para sa inverter ng motor. pero kung for heating talaga gagamitin, kailangan nga nasa 110V.

Gagawa kasi ako ng acrylic bender, maganda kasi sa heating element ng toaster may ceramic tube na, kayaya ipapasok ko na lang sa aluminum square bar.

sir ang idea is quite ok ala kasi tayo nabibili dito na ganyang gamit 4 acrylic.
Ang napansin ko lang sa idea sis yung ipapasok mo sa aluminum tube.
Magiging conduction na yung heat transfer oo ipapatong natin yung plastic pero matutunaw cya upon contact sa aluminum.I think the ceramic tube will suffice sa idea mo..in that way convection ang transfer ng heat.

Sa question mo sis baka masyado mainit ang isa...at madali maputol ang elements. Kasi di mo maiwasan na magreheat kung kailangan kaya need mo may naka maintain na supply sa heater.
Why not pagtabihin mo na lang ang dalawa.. just athought.

Mas maganda nga siguro ipagtabi ko na lang, tapos may gap sa gitna, then gawa ko ng blower sa ilalim para yung mainit na hangin concentrated sa isang area lang ng acrylic.

oo sis..pede din sloted para yung lalambot yung nasa awang lang.

Actually ala lang ako element yung holder ko buo na. Baka pag uwi ko na lang sa province mabubuo ko yun.

I think sa quiapo pwede mag pagawa custom heating elements (National ata name ng tindahan? forgot na). Mura din. Last time nag pagawa ako it was about 500~600 pesos for a 400watt heating element 220V. Might as well get a light dimmer for somewhat regulating the heat din  Grin

Another good tip is if you make the housing of the heating element. Make sure na somewhat fitted sya pag pasok. By experience nakasunog na ako ng 4 heating elements. What happened was hindi fitted ung pinapasukan nya. May "air gap". This made the heating element heat up too fast (wala mapuntahan ung init) and eventually kept burning out on me. But this is sa 400watt na heating element. Sa toaster baka iba rin ang design. Paiba iba kase mga types of heating element. Meron ung nasusunog meron ung hindi nasusunog ng basta basta.
