1. Please recycle branded CFLs only 2. Before connecting the electronic ballast, check if it has a fuse or a fusible resistor. If not present, DO NOT use it. 3. As an added safety, add an inline fuse or a low current rating (1 amp)circuit breaker in series to the electronic ballast. 4. Check the voltage of the CFL if it is 220V. This is important or the bulk capacitor will explode. The bulk capacitor has a rating of 400V for a 220V AC. 5. Use a fluorescent tube which matches the power rating of the electronic ballast from the defective CFL. Testing, testing 123......

sulit ito sa mga branded na cfl ballast pero yung sa mga mumurahin delikado sumasabog yung power transistor MJE'13001 The common failure mode of Branded CFL is an open lamp filament. You can determine if you can recycle the electronic ballast if you perform a continuity test on the terminals of the lamp of the CFL. If the fuse or fusible resistor or the CFL is open, chances are the power transistors are shorted. The MJE13001 is a high voltage bipolar transistor used in 8watts and below in branded CFLs But used in higher wattage CFL of low cost CFLs. The MJE13003 is a high voltage bipolar transistor used in high wattage CFLs |

yup open filament nga pag branded pero sa mga mahihinang klase yung ballast ang madalas masira, tungkol naman don sa transistor, parehas nga yung pinout ng MJE13001 and MJE13003 pwedeng ipamalit ang 13003 sa 13001 mas mataas ang rating nito  |

UU nga, parang trabaho nung starter ay para magkameron ng exciter yung gas sa tube then filament-gas-filament na dadaan yung kuryente after ng trabaho ng starter. |

Dalawang 10W at isang 20W na and narecycle ko.
current nung 10W is 1.15mA, 1.5mA naman yung 20 as measured on my analog MM.

recycled cfl ang gamit namin mostly dito sa street light namin,inumpisahan irecyle nung wala pang china made cfl. ok naman ang dating ng liwanag!
try nyo to at super liwanag talaga,cfl 18 watts at fl type (pahaba) na10 watts lang
kaya lang 3 months lang ang itatagal ng fl tube kung overnite na nakasindi!
