pahelp naman po ng project ko. light dimmer po minimum of 500 wayys and maximum po of 800 watts. pahingi naman po ng schematic diagram. salamat. asap po sana next week na po kasi isasubmit. salamat ulit

http://www.electronics-project-design.com/Light-Dimmer-Circuit.html  <- got this from google.. there are a lot more out there, from simple rc derived gate triggering, ramp-comparator gate trigger to microcontroller triggered types. you could also check elect, enthusiast projects and circuits volume 1. triac-diac combi can be replaced with quadrac. i suggestthat you do some research, try to understand how the circuit works in order to be able to build the circuit safely and without problems. this is a mains connected project so be sure to know the circuit and the hazards that it presents.

 why would you need a diac when some triac has a buit in diac such as these Q2008LT?

meron silang GT-32(ht-32) na 32V
GT-35(ht-35) na 35V
GT-40(ht-45) na 40V
GT-60(ht-60) na 60V

kung wala kang mabilhan sa inyo pwede namang ipamalit sa diac ang dalawang magkabaligtaran na zener diode connected in series Smiley
