Gud day mga master...

ask ko lang kung anong component ito

Nag overload/nagsunog kase un luma kong stepdown transpormer habang nakasaksak un tv.
Pinaltan ko sya ngayon ng bago na mas mataas na wattage.
the problem is un component (above) is burnt out then un fuse busted din.

ang problem ko eh di ko na mabasa un label nung component at the same time hindi ko sya madistinguish
kung anong klase ng component ito.

any other suggestion na baka may ibang pang nadamay sa pag putok ng transpormer ko?

maraming salamat in advance.

Most probably - varistor yan It protects your input circuits against high voltage spikes.
since your step down transformer failed the varistor has to absorbed the overvoltage tha resulted. It shorted and caused your fuse to blow. You can get more info about varistors thru Google.

Varistor also has the same symbol pero may dot sa dulo, so chances are, varistor nga yan.

Assuming sure ka na wala ng ibang piyesang nadamay and assuming na sure ka na na OK na ang replacement step down transformer mo then you can remove it, replace the fuse and turn on our TV.

Varistor nga yan sir, connected sa line 1 at line 2 (parallel sa AC source)..

http://docs-asia.origin.electrocomponents.com/webdocs/0785/0900766b80785545.pdf

Description = Varistor,metal oxide,radial,PCB mount,480Vrms,V480LA40A,
Maximum Voltage Rating = 480Vac / 640Vdc,
Maximum Clamping Voltage @ Current = 1240V / 50A,
Peak Current = 4500A,
Prize = 5pesos each.

(other specs. are available).
