Alarm system with password

hi po..may project po kc kame,an alarm system that,when activated, could be deactivated using a correct sequence of a four digit password.. ang iniisip q po ay gagawa kame ng fixed na password at icocompare namen s iinput ng user kung tama.. the problem is im really confused on how to make this password system..ok n po ung alarm system s four entry points po namen...im stocked d2 s password system n2...(ic's are used)....
plz help me....
