Possible na possible as earlier said above

Option 1.

Option 2.  Cheaper method thasn above, gamit ka nga Bluetooth dongle on both pcs as use the PAN feature of BT.

^Impossible yung gusto mo mangyari kung wireless w/o those wilreless devices attached or installed sa host pc..

You will still need to have a wifi card or dongle that is compatible or supported by the Virtual Access Point.

Mas maganda siguro if specify mo dito yong available connectivity options ng PCs mo (existing)

You can choose from:
Router with wireless support
or
Wireless Acess Point lang

I checked the price sa pcx and villman, around 2k average price.
here's what you can do. If your Desktop PC is currently connected in the internet via your ISP, then you must have your tiny router connected to your Desktop LAN. So, if you purchase a router with Wifi, you dont need to buy a Wifi card for your desktop because you can use you Desktop Lan to connect to your new router (wired), not unless you also want your desktop to have a wireless connection. You can either buy a USB wifi or PC card.

One more thing. Usually, yang mga ISP saten, pag nag pa connect ka sa kanila with single PC, they lock that computer's MAC doon sa tiny router kaya pag nilipat yong connection, kailangan pa ng key or some password. You must have this information with you. Pero kung wala, the workaround is to clone your computer's MAC don sa New router or access point na bibilhin mo, before you connect that tiny thingy ulet sa WAN port ng new router. If you find this info confusing, meron namang mga instruction yong router or Access Point so your setup would be a breeze. Usually, yong nabanggit ko na price, meron syang support for 4 wired connections and multiple wifi.

Then you have to setup security on your wifi Access point, I recommend WPA + specific MAC
goodluck!
