hello po sa lahat...
i'm a 4th year computer engineering student, nag-iisip po ako ng pwedeng project sa advance logic design namin... kaso po wala po akong idea..
recently, sa logic namin gumawa kami ng registers, adder-subracter, tsaka 4x4 ram (bale 2 bytes lang un, ngplot kmi sa breadboard)...
anyway, sabi kasi ng professor namin mgdesign daw kami ng project na gumagamit ng memory..
please pa help naman po...gusto ko lng po talaga magkaidea..
the cheaper po the better...

for the past few weeks po kasi, our professor told us to make registers, counters, controls, adder-subtracters..pinagawa nya rin kami ng 4x4 ram using 2x4 decoder tsaka 74ls189 (16x4 ram un eh iirc)..
so un po, for our design, sabi nya mg design daw po kami ng project that uses memory..]
ung idea po ng classmate ko, digital clock and digital scoreboard po, pagsasamahin sa isang device...
my memory na po ba un??
if wala, pwde po bang lagyan??

Pwede lagyan.
For example, memory para doon i-save ang alarm time.
Kung ang oras equal na sa "memorized" alarm setting, mag-ilaw siya ng isang LED or tutunog ang buzzer.

Do you have already designs that your professor asked such as registers, counters, controls, etc.?
Are you familiar with any logic simulation software?

iconstruct ung digital clock and digital scoreboard at the same time..
basic registers lng un gnwa nmin boss, counters naman both asychronous and sychronous....
logic simulator na alam ko is "atanua"..

meron ako exposure timer base on pic at lcd for display utilize ko rin sa design ang built-in memory ng pic to save the desired exposure time baka puede to try mo lang ...  heto naman link ng proteus file for simulation... warning ko lang hindi ko to ginawan working prototype kasi meron na ko ganito project 7-segment nga lang ang display. http://rapidshare.com/files/352699080/exposure_box_timer.rar |

Dot matrix using logic gates is a nightmare. You need MCU for this. |
