What is your feedback about Innovatronix? They need R&D engineers

Hey guys,

Im new in the forum? I just recently passed the board exam and currently looking for a job. My job preference is in the R&D field.
While browsing the net I saw career opportunities in the Innovatronix website.

The starting pay is very acceptable to me and much higher than what many companies here in Laguna offer. Plus more important the job requirements is R&D. But I have never heard of Innovatronix and there plant is very far from where I stay. I came from the province and currently stay in Laguna. I am willing to transfer residence if the feedback is okay. Tia .

hi poison, innovatronix  is the same company as the tronix (the digital photography shop which is everywhere) but aside from that they develop new useful gadgets..... I applied there too before, if im not mistaken the company is in rizal or antipolo.

Anyway that was one of my  most memorable job hunting experience, I did not land the job but i never regretted going there even if it was so far.... I found the written exam to be very difficult but I guess in general it was ok .... what left a lasting impression on me was the speech the owner gave, it was very inspiring .... actually i cant remember what he said but i remember the feeling when i left the premises

I worked for Innovatronix for 1.5 years, si sir anthonydp ata mas matagal. in terms of pay, at par siya with some companies, with almost regular 10% increase per year (depende sa appraisal). pagdating naman sa work, depende na sa tao kung gusto niya 'yung work. kapag nag-apply naman at pumasa sa exam or na-interview, ie-explain naman kung ano 'yung mga gagawin.

BTW, lilipat na sila ng office, medyo mas malapit na sa simabahan ng Antipolo, IIRC.

When I applied for a position there in 1997, there were two written exams.  The first is about schematic symbols, units, resistor color coding, capacitor numeric coding (i.e, 104, 103, 502), basic electronic stuffs.  This test is for those applying for technician position and also it is the 1st exam for the eng'g position.  The second test is circuit analysis where you are presented with schematics of their products and you are asked for a voltage or a current at certain points in the circuit.  And sometimes you are asked for the function of a specific block on the circuit.

If you passed the exams, you then get interviewed (panel interview) by your would-be peers. If you got a perfect score on the exam, you'll be grilled intensely on this interview.  After the panel interview, you'll be asked to go home and wait for their call.  If you get the call, you'll have your final interview with Mr. Castillo.  If you got a perfect exam score, he will give you probing questions as to how on earth you aced their exams (which nobody has done before).  Just be sincere and prove your mettle.

A career in innovatronix is a rewarding experience.  Yes, 10% increase per year and performance incentives.  You'll learn so many things especially if you're in R&D.  During our time, we were allowed to stay after office to learn more.  I think their project eng'g dept (which handles R&D) is now headed by Larry. He's the generation after ours -- quick learning, inquisitive, and easy to get along with.

If you get hired with them, say hi to Mon, Eric, and Larry for me.

additional note, bukod sa R&D skills, marami ka pang pwedeng matutunan sa Innovatronix. unlike other companies kasi na ang Engineering is just Engineering at kung may kailangan ka ipapasa mo sa ibang department, sa Innovatronix may chance kang maghanap ng supplier, kausapin/puntahan 'yung supplier sa specifications mo, etc.

- Self-motivated, assertive, hard working, with good moral character
- Can work with minimum supervision, willing to do field work
- Preferably an electronic hobbyist & very interested in Electronics hardware and software design
- Knowledge in C-language is an advantage
- Qualified applicant will undergo training in microprocessor based programming and design of analog and digital circuits
- Male/Female, 20-30 years old, with very good academic record
- Excellent career growth
- Starting salary is P19,000/month +10% after 6 months
- Preferably residing in Antipolo, Marikina, Taytay, Cainta, Pasig or nearby areas.

di ako familiar doon sa "jigs".  ipinangalan yata yun sa anak ni mon.  (aba! binata na pala yung anak ni mon ngayon, about ~18 yrs old na siguro.)  noong time namin,  nasa rose subdivision pa yung office malapit sa gasolinahan na nasa kanto ng sumulong hiway. 

palagay ko yung "jiggs" na tinutukoy mo ay yung along sumulong hiway sa bandang tapat ng gasolinahan (kung nandoon pa yung gasolinahan.).  parang dilapidated apartment yun dati na tambakan lang ng kung ano-ano.

ah nandun na rin pala 'yung office sir, sa tabi ng bahay ni boss. yup 'yun nga 'yung tinatawag nilang jiggs. ginawang bodega, pero nagtayo sila ng aquaculture doon.

siguro mga 18 na nga sir, noong nandun pa ako, around 2nd or 3rd year HS ata siya, nagpapaturo siya sa amin ng paggawa ng arcs using AutoCAD na iba-iba ang methods.
