Awts, e-tesda.gov.ph at tesda.gov.ph, pareho pala ang host nito (Bitstop). Malaki ang tsansa na lahat ng nasa host na to e ma "hack" din.

My Conspiracy Theory:
"The sysads/government themselves are defacing their own websites for publicity to affect the automated election.  They may not want it to push through because it is harder to cheat."

Why is it just the websites are hacked near the elections.  Does the Chinese and Indonesians know its election period and not the previous years or just COINCIDENCE.

This is just a theory and is just another side of the coin.
Security is relative.  Like locking one's door when the enemy has a tank.

Why?  1)We need to ask the SysAd or the N.E they could explain their negligence if they cant
                    that is too much negligence.

sa tingin ko ndi talaga malayong mangyari na "ma-hack" ung mga government sites.. and other philippines private "sites" as well because over millions ang naka-connect sa internet or "public networks" ..

sa aking pananaw, it doesn't matter anymore whether chinese, indonesians, or other "groups" or "nations" hack the sites.. dahil kahit sino naman basta persistent na i-hack ung website.. in the long-run mag susucceed din maybe not 100% but still it penetrates even lets say 2%..

i think ang issue ngayon dito is not "to create fear with the public.." but rather we are trying to push filipino computer engineers, network engineers, computer programmers, or any other professionals working with software related positions to adopt better security measures..

if i'm in the right position to speak, i know maraming mag-oobject but.. i even push-through computer hackers the "challenge" and produced more effort to "crack" and "hack" more government websites but took some precaution to remain within the "legal boundaries" .. the purpose is to witness how "weak" our computer security here in the philippines and to encourage the "government operators" to embrace better computer security..

sometimes kasi pag-sinabi "hacking".. "negative" na agad ang perception ng public.. kaya bihira lang (or halos wala) tayo makita ng mga hacker's forum dito sa pilipinas..

in my strong belief, sa lahat ng profession, "software" ang pinaka-complicated na field that almost everyday may mga bagong virus, worms, etc.. hence, ang mga software related professions should "mandate" themselves to keep "updated and educated" with the current trends of software technologies..

in software.. everything is possible.. and it is my strong belief, that computer hackers are very interested in attacking the "automated election" this year.. whether in worm, virus, hacking form, etc..

Almost everything are hackable.
There's a lot of skill talented people out there and some are hackers.
its really hard to stop these hackers since they keep on trying thing just to hack you.
sometimes they destroy sometime they steal vital information.
there are lot of ways to prevent hacking ofcourse first to be careful of not showing private infos
and constant change, like passwords file locations etc.

near future this hacking will surely be wide specially there are lot of genius hackers out there.
so lets be carefull and practice security, confidentiality.

This is precisely correct but why?
Hacker can hacks because there is a so called commonality or standard in a systems
be it O.S., Network or set of protocols in communications. The last recourse is to build
your own system and have another setup to mediate it outside standard.

Hacker are great with the best of their initiatives but none we could be informed that they
are able to turn down rocket missiles ,de orbit or break satellite communications and tough
digital weaponry.Again why? their sets of protocol/s is alienated and  yet they mediate to our
known medium sets of communication standard.

The questions why the sites/URL are vulnerable to intrusion.
1)The answer is obvious, because other know much better about their system.
2) Yes, you might got correct answer it was done intentionally

My suggestion if that is the case stick to open source build your own kernel
modify your hardware core.

Thanks

At some extent yes, you can be safe with this but it'll just take some time before these "hackers" figure out your very own system/protocol/other custom design. Missiles are not prone to hacking because they have their own network, detached from the internet and closely guarded and maintained by scientists whom I would guess knows what they're really doing.

Even closed systems are prone to hacking. There is this so called social engineering techniques wherein an insider are persuaded to reveal secret information so that "hackers" gain initial access to the target system.

So, non standard system/protocol just falls around the "security through obscurity" and it has been proven that said system, as long as it is hooked up to the internet, is also vulnerable. Its just a matter of time Cheesy

Hi Folks.

So, non standard system/protocol just falls around the "security through obscurity" and it has been proven that said system, as long as it is hooked up to the internet, is also vulnerable. Its just a matter of time Cheesy

"Even closed systems are prone to hacking"-broad sense
"they have their own network, detached from the internet"-broad sense
(physically, electronically)so the whole thing is sytem ,I have the explaination
in my first reply.

"Even closed systems are prone to hacking. There is this so called social engineering techniques wherein an insider are persuaded to reveal secret information so that "hackers" gain initial access to the target system."-Internal hacking

" It can be prevented only and only if , the concerns IT of a network knows how to
subdivided the level of his Network Security System."-This is the battle neck here

There will be no "haka -haka" assumptions otherwise ; if you can create your own system
the idea of what  I am pointing at is  more of extended views of a reader(here) not
by a hacker themselves.

But please dont get it wrong ;there is no complicacies on our explainations it is maybe just we differ to some technical views. To be more logical they are not negating yet an "anding" or "oring" Though ,there is a partial argument it could be a broad discussion.

Then view the answer technically other than auspicious idea
1)Share your technical ideas
2)Detail to something "Govt. web sites na ha hacked!! and its probable caused again
   technically.

So,then let us wait for that time...

Thanks.
