If you are going to open Microsoft Office document, you need a software capable of opening such formats.
Kung MS Office ang gagamitin, dapat x86 ang architecture nang device mo (on top of windows OS).

Pero kung gagawa ka nang compatible software like OpenOffice, Abiword, etc (on top of Linux), then, there are a wide variety of hardware available.

Another option, use a 2nd hand PocketPC. It uses WinCE based operating system that is created by Microsoft. May software para magopen, magedit nang Office documents and other ebook formats.

Ang magiging bottleneck nyo po dito is yung hardware. But this is very possible to make naman. Malaki lang talaga ang magagastos.
