Canon MP145 does not recognize refilled Black Ink Cartridge ( Error Code E 5 )

ganito rin ang problema sa mp145 ko paminsan-minsan

lalo na kapag nagagalaw o na-aalog ung printer kapag nililipat ko ng pwesto


pero nawawala rin yung error code e5


madaming beses ko na rin yun na-refill kaya siguro nagloloko rin paminsan-minsan, humihingi na ng kapalit

mahal pa naman din yung catridge kahit yung re-manufactured..tsk


ang solution ko sa error code e5, tinatanggal ko ulit yung catridge tapos binabalik ko (try and try)

Gudday po mga Sirs, MP145 din po ang gamit ko and na encounter ko na po yang ganyang problem..Unang ginawa ko po is to google all the error codes of my Canon MP145, then na try ko ung suggestions ng iba. If Sir Electron meron kang mahiraman ng orig.cartridge, much better kc kailangan natin yan to detect muna the black cartridge. Pag nailagay na po ung orig., for sure walang error na yan, then un-install, and re-install the refilled black cartridge..
    In my case po, successful po ang technique na ito and I hope na makatulong sa iba...Have a nice day po

Ang ginagawa ko ay nililinis ko ng cloth with alcohol ang metal contacts ng ink cartridge at nag-o-okey sya.  You can also download MPTool from the internet to reset the ink counter of Canon Printers.

buhayin ko itong thread mo sir shey haylee dee mp145 din po ang printer ko ito po ang best way to reset yung cartridge:

Disconnect the printer's power outlet

Press and hold the power button while connecting the power outlet back.

while still holding down the power button, press the resset button twice.(red circle with a triangle)

release the power button
 the printer takes about 10 seconds to show the number 0

press + to change the value from 0 to 1

when this value is 1, press the color button; this will light up two leds.

one is for plain paper and the another for photo paper . at this point is feed the printer with paper.

press the power button, the color button then the reset button in order. The sanon will print some stripped lines and some numbers and letters (all black if colored ink is empty).

when you print this sheet the value in the display returns to zero.

Open the printer cover (not the scanner cover) and remove the cartridges.
with the printer stll open, disconnect the power outlet.

close the lid, re-connect the printer to the power outlet and turn on the printer.

refill the cartridges and place them back in their nice little abode in the printer

sir itong technic na ito, kailangan gawin everytime magprint, bale binabalewla nya lang yung warning na babalik din pag nagprint ulit

pag bagong refill po ang cartridge mo,mag blink yan ang orange po try to pause orange in seconds ,tatakbo ang head nya maririnig mo yan,then normal mode green color,para makaka siguro if normal na sya try to off the printer tapos on ulit.gud luck po

sa case ko kasi, di naman ako nag-refill.... matagal kong di ginamit ang printer ko (about 2mos ata) tapos nung gamitin ko ulit, e5 na ang message nya....

hi! my canon printer mp145 pixma cannot recognized the black ink cartridge. I used original cartridge PG-40 and replaced it a new one. Pero ganun p rin may nag flash p rin ang E-5. kahit un scan ayaw din gumana nag "Printer maintenance is in progress. Scan after it is complete" ang lumalabas. I tried n lahat ng possible n pwede m solve gaya ng n i post nyo dito. Printer n kaya ang may problem. pero un color ink ko n recognize naman nya kc both cartridge pinalitan kuna.

follow the steps one by one
