screw the screw

« on: December 17, 2009, 08:35:43 AM »

There are lots of memory tweaking softwares out in the market which claims to have outperformed the manual tweaks you perform on your computer. But I dont any software could out perform humans in quality rather than in quantity. We here are gonna feature a  RAM Tweak which can enhance the performance of your PC to a larger extend. Lets see how speed up your PC by a simple RAM tweak.

Step1: Click on Start Menu and select Run.
Step2: Type “Notepad” and click OK.
Step3: Type in “MYSTRING=(80000000)”
Step4: Save the file as MEMORY.VBE or RAM.VBE.
Step5: Make sure you save the file to your DESKTOP.
Just double-click the newly created file on your desktop whenever
your PC seems sluggish. It will give your RAM a much needed boost.
Not that if you have less than 128mb of RAM  then replace the 80000000
with 160000000 .

feedback kayo if my changes

sakin kasi meron... bumilis na pc ko hehehe

wow 20GB memory~!... parang HOST nga ng isang game server....

baka ung 20GB HDD po un ... kasi sabi mo Local C:...

after nun nag nag open ka ng Adobe Illustrator then sabi mo 2.5 n lng ung Memory nya... ... hmmm ilan ba Tlg main memory mo? (by GB)  na nakainstall sa PC mo ^__^....

supposedly di nmn tlg dpt gnun kalaki ang virtual memory na kakainin ng program na un pag ni oopen...
but if u explain it clearly .... na ung buong capacity ng HDD mo ay 20GB... including Windows and other programs..plus Illustrator...
then ilan n lng ba ung natitirang Free space sa HDD?.....

then u just said na wala laman ung Local C: so lets say... sa Drive D: naka instal ung mga Windows components... plus files and programs...

its possible na merong 20GB, its for server type... and it must be running in 64 bit processor (more than one core processor)

for desktop types... IT IS NOT POSSIBLE in this time

obsolete na ito, sa win9x pwede pa. ang mangyayari lang dito ay mag ko-consume ng 80,000,000 bytes of dummy/blank entries sa main RAM pushing the rest of its valid contents into the pagefile. after a few minutes, babalik ulit yung valid content sa RAM at babagal ulit.

tsaka mali yung original post:

128mb = 134,217,728 bytes

134,217,728 < 160,000,000 -- madi-displace yung os kernel from RAM, magiging unstable.

mas maganda turn-off yung mga tasktray apps na di ginagamit, bawasan yung mga services na di kailangan, at gumamit ng static pagefile, one on each physical drive.

ram tweaks can have negative effects on your systems performance.
kaya palaging may "warning" message mga commercial tweak software regarding d2.
pero kung tama yong pagkasetup mo ng ram tweak, meron talaga siya performance boost.
hwag lang gumamit ng sobrang laking memory allocation.

have a nice day!
