hello!..can i determine right size of a magnetic contactor, thermal overload relay, if the only given is starting current and running current?and how?...assuming nameplate is deteriorated/damaged...actually, this is my first time that i will be using a magnetic contactor for a motor control...i wanna learn by using these components and also i wanna learn how to wire motor with the use of these components..can you help me?.. best way to do is use an ammeter to measure actual starting and running current of the motor, from there you'll have an idea of what current rating of contactor you'll need

if i were u , and needs to decide, will add 25% from the running current for the contactor and 15% for the overload relay.
