VP lokal & national org = 75%

ibang mga officer 50%..

(mitrc, excel, percdc, eraser etc..)

This not an introductory question like that of a Philosophy of Religion (Who is God?). heheh Grin

But seriously, what does IECEP have done for you? How does it affects you "directly" (or indirectly) as a professional?
Do you feel their presence in your workplace?

I am not trying to start an argument or something.. Gusto ko lang talagang malaman. I just feel that I am being oblige to pay every year without something in return. As i understood, an ECE can't be converted to Electronics engineering if not a member of IECEP. So I renewed my membership before going to PRC... but no one asked for my IECEP ID.. Does PRC have a list of active members?

Am I being oblige to be a member because the law of the state says so? If I don't renew the membership, what will happen?

IECEP is responsible for the new RA9292 law for Electronics which benefited a lot of ECEs already.

If u don't like IECEP you have the option not to become a member and you can live a better life with or without IECEP.

Benefits? what benefits master?

It's not we don't like IECEP master, it's just not meeting our expectations with the amount of money we're giving away for membership. Sad part is we have no choice kaya malakas ang loob magsabi na kung ayaw nyo wag nyo, Grin

RA9292 is one of the benefits. IECEp represented the interest of ECEs in the formulation of the revised IRR of the National Building Code which now include Electronics.

As a paying member you have the right to question kung saan napupunta ang pera ninyo at kung ano ang ginawa ng IECEp para sa interest ng mga ECEs. Ask those questions when u attend the convention or better yet run for a position in the organization baka may ma-itulong ka pa. Kung tahimik lng tayo then we deserve what we have at the moment. bakit kailangang questionin pa? di ba dapat responsibility ng iecep na iladlad ang transparency sa mga members?

Ang then the rest are for fund generation ng org?(Required active membership=fund, CPE=paid seminars=fund)

But, I think it's a good start for an organization na nagsimula pa since 1950s

Grin Grin Grin

Fyi, even electronicslab seminars can be accredited by IECEP for CPE points.  You just need IECEP endorsement.  For example, the MADC seminars before were accredited for CPE points by IECEP.  Dati si Dr. Reyes ang president ng IECEP when I ask for the endorsement for the MADC seminars.  Now, I think si Engr. Vicente (don't know him).  If you are the speaker x2 pa CPE points :-).

thats nice...

whew, at last i found a forum for ECEs...Licensed ECE here pero di pa ko nakapagrenew. But i tried to renew it, you know what made me delay my renewal? Mabuti pa nung nakapasa ko ng JLPT for im working in a Japanese Elec. Co., may allowance pa.
