heheheh...

by definition:

The primary differences between a resume and a curriculum vitae (CV) are the length, what is included and what each is used for. A resume is a one or two page summary of your skills, experience and education. While a resume is brief and concise - no more than a page or two, a Curriculum Vitae is a longer (at least two page) and more detailed synopsis.

sa tingin ko lang po based sa nga narinig ko HR people do not have the luxury of time for scanning all resumes/CV lalo na pag mahaba mas nakaka tamad basahin. So again opinion ko lang po to ha, I would prefer to pass a resume, atmost three pages. basta super highlighted yung skills mo and whatever you have to offer, hindi na kailangan ilagay lahat ng seminars/trainings/projects etc...basta ung mga major lang, or ung mga most recent. pwede mo din lagyan  lang ng note aftfer each category that goes something like this..... "A detailed list of projects/seminars etc.. may be provided upon request"

Additional tips: Better submit a curriculum vitae if you're applying for a managerial or executive position, or you can also submit such if the company requires so. Otherwise, a concise resume will do (concise may also be lengthy but not too much, the important thing is the substance, clarity of fact/s and the essence is there)
Apply this principle - K I S S meaning Keep it Straight and Simple. Prevent using jargons, just be factual, highlight your skills related to the position you're applying for and to mention, give stress on your experiences. Better emphasize also on the IMPACT or CONTRIBUTIONS you made on the previous company (instead of job descriptions alone), if in case for fresh grads, emphasize on the curricular activities you had during your school days. And whoala...you already made an effective resume/curriculum vitae.

yah tama si "Arigato".. "KISS" is very effective lalo na sa big foreign companies.

pag real pinoy companies naman dapat medyo detail, kasi i observe medyo matsismis pag pinoy.

Grin

Huh Huh Huh

Objective: first kailangan malinaw hindi nmn well detailed ung objectives na umaabot ng 6 rows from MSWORD bale up to rows lng pede na.....

Worling Experience: kailangan ung experience na may kinalaman dun sa aaplyan mo... so kung sa Callcenter ka mag aaply lagay mo ung mga related sa Sales...like customer service, actually mas preferred nga ang Service Crew kc in front cla ng customer....

Personal Data: well up to 3-4 rows ang macoconsume nito hindi mo nmn kailangan sa resume mo kung sino tatay at nanay mo eh... it's because all about you nga nmn ang pag-uusapan....

but my nakapagsavi saken na wag mag iinclude Supervisor as Char. Ref..... ewan ko lng kung bkit....

Well sa paggawa ng resume hindi nmn kailangan well detailed ang ilalagay mo dahil resume nga yan hindi yan Bio-data na naicomputerized lng....so my mga information na parang  nawawala na which is macucurious ung interviewer sau ^___^....

Font Size 10
Name Highlighted (font size max 20)
with address, contact # & email...
